[Egypt]: HTC Cruise No GPS

Dear All:
I am going to buy a New HTC cruise from egypt market and they said that; there is no GPS option in Most of sets SOld in ME according to county policy;;
does anybody knows if it's H/w Removed or Software Disabled for GPS...
I am getting a good deal which i wouldn't get for Dubai as I will trade in My old HTC exic s620.
please let me know urgent

Who said? Maybe they are just refering to the inclusion of proper navigation software, such as TomTom?

its just a software protection, just flash any cooked rom and it will fix the problem.

this is a software included with the HTC cruise rom shipping in Egypt to disable the GPS and not H/w, GPS is built in the processor and no way to remove it

if you flash the Cruise with the original WM 6.0 English rom the GPS will working
or you can flash an cooked rom like UDK Dimond R7 rom WM 6.1 with mobidiv Polaris Arabizer V2_0 Build 4.7 to read and write Arabic
