Hello knowledgeable people,

I am sure that I will get flamed, as I am sure that this has been asked before, but after searching I cannot find a solid answer. I am not new to flashing my rom but have only flashed the radio once. I want to upgrade to a newer radio using the SD card method. I have DCDs 3.2.6 and am curious that if I flash only the radio if I will have to re-flash the rom as well, or will the new radio just write over the pre-existing radio and leave the rom untouched?

any insight?

just extract the radio u want to flash to into your SD card

download it from DCD's storage site here (http://www.lifesnotsogood.com/dcd1182/titan/radios/)

i highly recommend 3.42.40....power+camera+reset, will flash radio only leaving ur phone just how u had it seconds before only with a newer radio

As linked in the current leading sticky thread of the forum: "NEED HELP?? LOOKING FOR GUIDES?? NEW?? Read the XDA-Wiki for the Titan before posting (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=388596)"

the main Titan Wiki (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Titan) has a link to Upgrading Custom ROMs/Kitchens & associated radios with flashing guides - Titan with GPS Home Page - Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 with GPS & EVDO Rev A (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=TitanRecentHome)

...there you will find Radio Upgrade - Changing the radio while keeping your current data & OS ROM untouched - via the microSD card flashing method
