hello, well title says it all realy.
I´m about to buy a polaris, is it worth to change from original rom?
i changed from original to vanilla on my artemis and it was absolutly worth it.
that vanilla version didnt have any bugs or so.
is there a stable faster rom for the polaris? which one shoudl i use?

(my premises: i dont have any use of thousands of programs realy, just fast and STABLE. only the bioscroll needs to be intact so i dont need the stylus.
Is there a need to upgrade to another ROM seen to pure speed and responsivness?)

/thanks for all input

When it comes to speed and some features (sms chat, ++), it's worth an upgrade. Other than that, it's mostly the same.

I tried a lot of the ROMs and am most satisfied with the udk v7. A lot of the orthers look nice, but are very unstable.

IMHO the fastest and the most stables rom is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=404977&page=16 (look at the 1st page).

In few days or earlier(i hope) will be v 1.0 ready to flash.:D

oh nice thanks for the tip, think i go with this one as soon as it goes 1.0.

how about the video playback issue, how bad is it?
Can i play a typical dvdrip movie without having to decode it to lesser quality?
