I've been looking around for a long while and can't seem to find a windows mobile solution that would give me the same results as Google's "Quick Add" or Splashdata's Palm OS program "Snap" or "Slap." Essentially these programs make data entry faster by letting the user just type all the pertinant information in one field, and then the program populates the rest of the fields where it can.

For example, setting up an appointment by typing the phrase "Dinner at Steve's on tuesday from 6p to 8p"

This would fill in the following fields in a new appointment:
Subject: Dinner
Location: Steve's
Date: Tuesday, August 25th, 2008
Time: 6:00 PM-8:00 PM

Similarily contact entry is the same:
"Steve Smith cell 123-555-1234 home 321-555-4321 888 Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 54321"

This would yield a new contact:
First Name: Steve
Last Name Smith
Cell Phone 123-555-1234
Home Phone 321-555-4321
Address: 888 Lincoln Ave
Chicago, IL 54321

Populating the fields is all automatic and it saves a lot of time, especially if you're setting up multiple appointments or contacts at once. Or if someone speaks their information to you while you type it in your device. Does this Windows Mobile App exist? Can anyone make it exist?

There is something very nearly like that which was posted to this section recently but I'm not finding it on searching.. Might search some more, I'm sure it's here somewhere.

Thanks khaytsus, do you remember any key words that I might be able to use in a search? Or does anyone else?

If anyone comes by this months later, feel free to respond. I'll keep an eye on this posting. Thanks.
