I don't know what the problem is, or if I am missing something, but I can't get online with my cruise.
I was using the latest radio, and a custom rom. Tried a hard reset, different radio too, still no luck.
I thought all i needed was..
internet.fido.ca
fido/fido
and an ip address which I cant remember, but none the less, nothing is working. (actually, don't know if that's the DNS, for the server address i enter in the advanced settings)
Flashed to default WWE rom, pyt same settings in, this time it pops up with trying to connect, but in the end gives me same message..
"dialed internet.fido.ca. Cannont connect for an unknown reason" blah blah blah..
Another fellow has an htc tytn and used the same settings, on a custom rom that was made by the SAME GUY that made the custom rom i am using for my cruise.. which is pretty weird.
Anything else I can do for trouble shooting? Do i have to wait awhile for it to kick in? or shoudl it just work after a soft reset?
