Hey ttran, good job. The dialer looks good, but I would like to make a suggestion if you don't mind. Can you add a "Call" button on the dialer too? This should make things easier so we don't have to move all the way to the hard button to make a call after dialing the numbers. Thanks

you could always install your own dialer. there are good ones already out there that can give you what you need

I will have the beta up tomorrow for the testers to verify.

2D Lite

38MB+ Storage and 23MB+ Programs

It has less programs memory since the add-on requires more, but it still runs pretty darn fast.

Things I got working

Volume Control, now works as it should.

It's very easy for me to change out the keyboards during the cooking process.

I already have this keyboard on my bros tilt.

Its nice but requires about 2MB of space, which is not a problem on the tilt but can be a problem on the wing.

Due to the lack of memory space, I always try to use add-ons that take up less space.

The main browser button has been directed to opera mini.
Youtube has been directed to youtubeplay
And I've added a third icon above YouTube for flash video bundle.

Yes,

Just install either batterystatus or HS++ to over clock the device.
I no longer include these apps in my roms since the version are updated a lot.

WOW This is going to be the best rom ever. I changed a few things. There is quickmenu and large menu installed. Removed large start menu. I used some files from update 12. I used the new HTCAlbum.cab. This will fix the black corners on the picture's. I used the comm manager from update 12 that match's the settings/sounds tab. I used team opal easy input keyboard thats included in update 12. Thats all I would change. Runs great nice job thank you again. I will have to donate again for this one.

It is missing the same three ringtones as the previous betas:

Ring-Standard.wma
Ring-Vision.wma
Ring-WindowsMobile.wma

If you add these from another ROM, they work fine.


BTW, so far this is looking excellent. Working much better integrated that the previous beta with M2D added.

This beta rom is the one, fantastic. Everything I tested works and works very well. Looking forward to the final version with the update 12 stuff.

I have the same thing. Nothing happens when selecting "all programs". I would have liked it to bring up the start menu or quick menu, similar to how "all people" brings up the normal contacts.

OTOH, that soft key never worked for me on any other ROMs that I have installed M2D update 7 or 13 on.

I will hard link the programs in as well for the release tomorrow.
That way you dont have to worry about loosing them any more.

Move your original .nbh file to another folder, then add mine to the folder where your original .nbh file was at.

Then flash away.

I use to have it written down but too lazy so I got it off the net....lol

The "port 8080 trick" still works (for now). From my experience you can either have an exchange server working or email/internet working but not at the same time. To get around this use TWO proxies.

First, in Settings/Connections/GPRS/T-Mobile Data:

Connects to: Work
Access Point: wap.voicestream.com


Then in Settings/Connections/Proxy:

Make New Proxy (for me "Exchange")
Connects from: WAP Network
Connects to: The Internet
Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
Type: HTTP

Make a Second Proxy (for me "popmail")
Connects from: Work
Connects to: The Internet
Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
Type: HTTP

To get the Exchange server working:
(Exchange server settings)
Options/Advanced
Connection: Internet

To get internet/mail working:
(This will need to be done for each account you have)

Options/Account settings/Advanced Server Settings
Network Connection: Work

It works the same way.

Go to /Setting/Connections/Connections

Advance/Select Networks and edit the one of your choice.

I use Tmobile data and edit that one to include the proxy address.


and the rest is the same, just play around with it.
It works on mine.

did you try sliding up the side volume rocker in-call? That should do it. :D

Slide the left volume button up and it will change your volume.

The last time I tried, I was able to listen to music on my bros bluetooth.
But then again, that was many build ago.

It works. Instead of going thru the Settings Comm Manager, I hunted the other comm manager.. and it didnt show the blue tooth lighting up.. however when i checked the 2Ds Settings version of the Comm Manager it was lit up.

There is an "update" button on the bottom left-hand side of the screen. I also use the proxy hack to get online and update my phone. If you haven't ran the weather proxy cab, try that and it all should work.

6. When i hit sounds it closes right away, i have to click it twice.

Someone please help i have flashed twice and i cannot get the text messaging to work at all no sms or mms. I have gone to both the message tabs and i have had people send me texts and i do not receive them i also cannot even figure out how to compose a text. If i am in the messages tab it only has the option to set up a new email account. Can anyone help me out or take a screen shot or direct me to how to get the texts working??? Thanks

2 and 3 are confirmed issues on my build as well.

Now running OTP7.1 and the issues are still there. Minor annoyances if anything. Nothing to keep the rom off my phone :)

Okay,

I will look more into this later one.

As for the live, if might be due to the flash 3, I had to include to get the 2D apps to work correctly.

Please keep posting your issues.

I just tested all of my program links and they all work fine.
What is going on?

I am experiencing a problem with quick menu. I have enabled "show battery on taskbar" and selected percent+memory. If I turn of TF it shows in task bar. Once I enable TF it disappears. Is it something I am not doing right or is this by design?

I did find some slight problems though...

Oxios hibernate only works from the quick menu. assigning it to a button (example button 5) it doesn't do anything. also even in programs it doesnt do anything.

also when turning on the alarm it says its off.

Hey ttran, first off I'd like to say that I am absolutely loving this rom, you have definitely outdone yourself yet again! However, whenever I am using A2DP to stream music to my BlueAnt speakers or my Motorola S9 headset, I experience distorted sound with a high pitched noise in the background. I believe this was an issue in one of your early builds of OTv6.0 and I recall you fixing it after that. I use this feature quite frequently, so if you are able to fix it, I would certainly appreciate it. i have another question, i had this problem with the previous 2 roms. i cant get the flash files to show up under the file association in tcpmp. the flvffmpeg.plg and flvsplitter.plg files are under the tcpmp folder under program files but i cant seem to make it show the files in file association. any help please?

Hey I am having a problem maybe some one here can help me with. I am using the 6.1 and when I changed the area to my own to update the weather it told me to reboot. Once I did that it now freezes during the boot up process. It just sits on the initializing part of the today screen. I try to reload the plug in but it tells me that I dont have the themes. And when I try to re-flash it, when I get to the last part where the RUU tries to get my phones current info it tells me that the phone is not hooked up when I know for a fact that it is. Please can anyone help me?

I think if you hold power and camera buttons it will go into bootloader like a tri colored screen. Try to go to bootloader then hook it up to the computer and run the uspl and ruu see if that works.

Man i dont know then i thought through the bootloader screen you could connect USB and flash no problem perhaps something else is messed up. just try to boot it up like regular and connect it that way again or when you do see if you can get to comm manager and turn the activesync on. You could also try loading the stock tmobile wing rom then reflash after you do that.

You can flash in boot loader with flash center even with acticestnc not connected. If that dont work you can hold left and right soft keys and soft reset while holding soft keys and it will format and reload rom.

Hey i just noticed when i click the internet browser tab it says" there is no application associated with OperaL run it then try again>" I ran it and it still does not work anyone else have this problem?

same with the video bundlesays no app associated with FVB.

Did you remove my OTP Cust 1 from the remove and add programs?

Please do not uninstall this add-on, it's needed for the browser links to work.
It is very small about 179k so, please leave it alone until I have time to write up a xml file to replace it.

Ok about the alarm being off, it comes on the day its suppose to be, so no issue with that. my next issue is i don't know how much power is left in my battery? theres no battery status, i went into the options to add the bat in the taskbar still no go.

And that Omapclockplus had my phone on a soft reset cycle is there anything else that over clocks?

and another issue i don't like is when im texting in landscape and send a message it goes back to menu and into portrait mode.

question is there a way to turn off the automatic start of the music player? like have it cut on by tappin it instead of sliding by it?

This is not the Micro version but a Lite version with most apps running from your SD.

ok, i havent been on the forum for a day, and all hells broken loose. how have so many problems started happening? i thought beta release 2d was pretty much solid. everything worked except the "all programs" softkey. i havent flashed v7 or v7.1. if there are so many problems, why not just release beta 2d? just trying to help.

That sound like an excellent idea...Somehow change Autocabs so it installs the cabs to the SD.

With the beta 2d the video play back for the album was not working and I had to make other updates.

As for the issues, some of them are very minor and others I'm still trying to confirm.

But the funny thing is on my device I'm not seeing any issues.

So, go figure?

I've updated the album with the fixes for beta 2.
Removed large startmenu.
and still working on other add-ons and removals.

Might be something I did, but large startmenu was still installed, no icon in control panel, but the reg keys were still there an it was still active. When I tapped the start menu i would get large and when i hit the windows key i got quickmenu - went into the reg and disabled large start menu and all is good

Not sure what your issues can be...maybe a bad flash? As I didn't have a problem with the camera in either v7.0 or now with v7.1.

No problem, but the way the beta team works is..

I will post a mesage for the first 6 people to pm me just before testing starts.
I started this since I want different people to be part of the testing.
This gives it more of an open source if you don't mind feel.

I always use vistahide batery guage, it puts a status bar accross the very top of the display. Just put it in \windows\startup and it will run when you soft reset your phone.

I downloaded HS++ and disabled Touchflo and enabled HS++ and set my wing to overclock and underclock like normal with it showing the clocked status on the taskbar under the time. I go back and enable TF2D and the indicator at the top goes away and no more overclocking. I go to today and HS++ auto disables itself whenever TF2D is enabled.

you cant really choose it but i think i uninstalled it without unregistering it and when my device woke it would give me some error left from omapclockplus

Thanks for the new ROM, working wonderfully, I was still running off of 5.3 O_o. So much smoother now. I was just wondering if there was a cab floating around with the games you had before, I'm not missing my tetris and pac-man :P. Also, is there a way to access the memory feature from the original windows program? The one that allows you to manually close down programs? Whenever I use AIM (via ozcommunications program) it will remain open and cannot be shut down by choosing close programs from the start menu.

I have flashed this rom like 10 times it seems like different stuff keeps happening.

For the first few flashes no sms or mms would appear.

I had one flash where the email tab would keep freezing the ROM.

Then i got texts but the internet browser and video bundle would not work.

Now i got everything working but it took some time this ROM is awesome but i think that there must be something weird thats happening cause i know that different stuff keeps happening everytime i flash.

I am scared to change the skin now cause i dont want anything to break.
