Still have GPS issues

So, I flashed the official rom from HTC's website

ROM v: 3.57.502.2 WWE
ROM date: 07/17/08
Radio: 1.65.21.18
Protocol: 25.88.40.05H

The HTC GPS tool gives different info now - 6-8 red circles show up on the Satellites tab, but satellites used shows 0. And Google maps and Live search both time out when trying to get a GPS signal. So it looks like maybe I am closer, but it's still not working quite right.

Thanks. I tried the registry setting change that was mentioned and was able to get a fix after about 2 mins via HTC GPS tool and now google maps is working properly. I guess I'll just keep an eye on the boards and the htc site for an 'official' fix.

Hints:
-Try a new radio.
-Update Quick GPS.

I had the same problem. Flash rom, then a hard reset. Fixed it.
