Slow web-page loading...

The loading times for web-pages on my Diamond are SLOW. I am about to upgrade to a new radio (1.00.25.05) when my Diamond is charged enough, will this make a difference? What other reasons could there be? This is my first 3g phone and I cannot believe how slow the pages load - youtube pages take an age!

Arghh! Just tried to update but when i go to open RUU i get a message telling me i need to use a different version of the .net framework (an older one i think).Any thoughts?

first of all goto Start > Settings > Connections > Wireless lan > power Mode > and set it to Best performance..

then try browsing some pages again


the problem with the net framework shoud be simple to fix

download and install Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en) and if that doesnt work try the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=10CC340B-F857-4A14-83F5-25634C3BF043&displaylang=en)

Youtube is still quite slow to load though, any ideas?

No problem..

dont know about the Youtube thingy, try a softreset and see how it responds to that

Ok, i'll try that. Could you also tell me how to get the original ring-tones back as after the Swift upgrade I only have a couple or so...

Just trying to think of everything I need!
