I FIXED THE TINY MMS SETTINGS in Samsung Omnia

I USED THE MMS FIX FROM THE HTC to fix the samsung Omnia

TIHS IS WHAT I DID.. i install the WSPHeader registry settings from the ARCSOFT. and replaced them with the config Registry settings in the Samsung

STEP1

INSTALL WSPHeader.Cab

STEP 2

Usings PHM Registry Edit

navigate to

HKLM>>Software>>ArcSoft>>ArcSoft MMS UA>>Config>>mm1>>WSPHeader

STEP 3

Rename Profile to UAProf

Rename User-Agent to UserAgent

Step 4

Copy all 3 Registry files

Accept, UAProf, UserAgent

to

HKLM>>Software>>Samsung>>MMS>>Settings

IT WILL REPLACE BOTH THE UserAgent and UAProf files




IF YOU CANT COPY ALL FILES AT A TIME.. COPY AND REPLACE one by one

you can make changes to the CAB:

use something like 7zip to extract _setup.xml from the CAB.
Edit _setup.xml with the changes:

Rename Profile to UAProf

Rename User-Agent to UserAgent and change:

"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader"

to

"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Samsung\MMS\Settings"

_setup.xml before:

I've uploaded WSPheader for Omnia CAB. It should work, but I have no way to test it.

Je vous explique mon problème. récemment j'ai flashé mon samsung player addict. j'ai mis la ROM HH3 et depuis je n'ai plus la possibilité de me connecter a google maps par exemple ni à messenger. J'ai fait des recherches sur google afin de résoudre ce probleme et j'ai pu voir que cela provenais du user-agent.

Je possède un abonnement SFR illimythics 3G+ mais je ne trouve pas le bon user agent ni comment faire pour le modifier. J'ai été dans une boutique sfr mais ils n'ont jamais entendu parler d'un user-agent qui empecherait la connection.

Je me tourne donc vers vous en dernier recours en espérant que vous ayez une solution a mon probleme.

This worked on my Samsung Omnia i910 except it messes up video MMS now. I receive a video mms and all i get is the audio and a series of the same picture over and over. The details of the MMS state that it is a picture message. Anyone found a way to get around this issue?

Again, this FIXES the picture messaging issue and i can receive a PICTURE MMS at a higher resolution (sometimes not always as big as the original) but now i have the video mms problem.

Anyone have any input?

Hey ramkt8, I tried you method and exported the settings for htc onto my omnia. MMS is not working. Now I didnt backed up my registry and I want to get back to the same settings as OMNIA originally have how do I do that ? Kindly help.

Ok, I got WEB, GPS via GoogleMaps, plus other programs working after changing the settings for MetroPCS etc... The only one I'm lossing my mind on getting to work is my MMS/Picture Mail... Can you or anyone figure out whats what with this MMS or what the right settings for: WoZZeRs WM6.5 Cooked ROM M2D on my Omnia i910 with MetroPCS service. If anyone can send me there MMS (.mmc file) using SamsungPST for MetroPCS MMS that'll be great if you got the right settings... Thanks!
