Problems with USB Cover

Does anyone have a problem with the usb cover besides me? I'm not even hard on my phone, but its loose as a goose. Is this somthing i can buy online? Ive tried amazon and ebay

No joke haha :) I called htc and they said to put another one on there was 163 bucks and they could keep it up to 3 weeks. That sounded so stupid i laughed. Is there any way i can buy one and replace it myself? Anyone know of such a place lol?

That piece of rubber crap really shits me

I constantly pull it on and of to charge my phone in my car, I ended up cutting it in half with a pair of scissors! so that the usb port is exposed and the sd slot is still covered by half the rubber.

As for the battery back don;t get me started on how many times I drop my phone per day cause the back cover falls of!

currently have double sided tape on the battery to try and keep the back on.

Its really annoying to me, perhaps the only flaw in the phone.

So far I have had no luck finding a standalone battery charger so I find that I have to recharge via the USB port, which means pulling that cover open frequently.

If it comes off entirely, does it go back on?

What are others doing with theirs?

i know im reviving an old thread here, but i am getting one of these tommorrow.

What happens if the rubber cover is simply cut off? Does it really detract from the phone?
