New battery icon !

Hello,i try to change the original battery by this icon with different statut color :

I've modified phcanOverbmp.dll but when i've created the cab,the installation cannot install . Anyone a solution ? Thanks .

Did you sign the file ? what directory windows ?

Hi,no for the signature and the directory is windows.I try with the same file signed .

Maybe that must be in the shellres dll ?

Edit : impossible to copy shellres.dll with total commander in my documents folder . ( the file is invisible ) .

It's the shellres.96.dll i would say.

I searched for a long time how to change the icon start menu and there is a solution here:

That consist to install a marshall wait cursor skin (not MWC2) that create another shellres96.dll who is calling shellres.96.dll.040C.mui (040C is the language of my ppc (france) but you must to know that) and we can modify the icon start menu in this new shellres file.
The old shellres.96.dll file is always here but the new file create by the marshall skin is "prioritary".

Maybe there is a way here...

So install it and as i said you it's will create a shellres.96.dll.040c.mui file ;)

you can aquire it out of a ROM dump or a kitchen for your device..... I will post the one from my Titan runnin WM 6.1

Essaie de remplacer ton fichier par un de ceux la

Au pire des cas pas besoin de faire de harde rest t'inquiete :) (si tu as remplacé le fichier shellres.96.dll par un autre, tu le renomme en shellres.96.old.dll et fait un soft reset ;) apres supprime le old)

T'es pas chaud pour modifier les icones :D ? aprés je fait les test si tu veux moi je suis pas trés bon avec toshop j'y arrive mais je met trop de temps :(

hmm..ive sucessfully chaanged my Start menu logo EASILY !..the ROM is in my signature (its the Dark Edition)..and it wasent aa fuss..and all the images are there..except for the keyboard

No in the shellres file the size and the format must be .ico and 16x16, the size of the original ico is 318 octets but your image after convert it is 1,12ko i think it's very too big...

ok i have done some research on your phcanOverbmp.dll it has a error thats why it can't be signed and thus wont work but i found some interesting stuff on this subject and DLL so good luck ;)

What program is the bottom plugin called.

the possible ways is unsigned your module, skinning your module as like as you started. and finally signed your module then make as a cab.
try search on the forum with keyword "unsigner" and "msigner"

I have a question (pseudo related)..

I want to change my wifi icon to a more official one than the windows mobile standard. How hard would it be for me to make a cab that does that? I have the graphics. I did them for mobile shell.
