Simple Htc boot screen-Aug 31, 2008

Found this lurking in my backup folder. I made it a long time ago for my phone and thought I might as well do my part and share it.

I have a psd laid out so its simple enough to change any of the colors if anyone is interested.

Heres two different colors and an animated version:

Right click save as
Rename it welcomehead.96.png
Animated one rename to animated.gif
Put it in your Windows folder on your device

I have not tested the animated ones because I no longer have an animated.gif show up when I boot. So let me know how they work out. I have non looping versions too if they loop to much when you boot.

the animated one was actually locking up my phone cause im running a custom rom..so at one point it would just hang and needed a soft reset.

so what i did was, disabled the start up animation and used the still picture and it worked just fine! It actually cancelled out my wm6.1 welcome head which was an eye sore.

I've a custom rom...(spaghetti for artemis)
i tried to put animated.gif into windows folder but it doesn't work...it runs the old welcome screen :(
