Hi all,

here is my HTC Action Screen version with 9 buttons for QVGA phone.

WiFi on_off & Bluetooth on_off buttons added.


** Fix for those want the BT with discoverable option, HERE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2589152&postcount=36).



All translations are coming soon if you like it (German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Danish, Portuguese, Greek ...).


You've to soft reset after install.

Based on the original one, but skinning by myself. I added two buttons more than the original one ... :D

It looks good. I tested it on my TITAN with WM6.1 and found two issues.

The Note button does not work and the task button does not work unless you press it close to the end. Practically by pressing the note button.

oh, just find myself :
can easily localize it by going to HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch\ActionScreen

and modifying the "Path" value under each APP_x subkey.

soft-reset, then it's done.

hope - it will be useful, -for those who use ThumbCal the path is: \Program Files\ ThumbApps\ ThumbCal\ ThumbCal.exe
both for Tasks(App4) &Appointments(App3)

Go into your Windows Folder and look for HTCACtionScreen.dll.MUI.40x and change the 'x' (which is a number 0-9) to a different number than you have now. Mine was 409 and I changed it to 407. Soft Reset and, viola, no more annoying text.

strange, can't find that file... all I find is .exe's but no .dll.mui.40x
i tried with resco explorer (show all files) and through activesync on my pc

Wifi button doesn't work for me either. I will tinker with it to make it work using aewifitrigger if I can. I am also going to try to take the green out and replace it with grey\silver.

EDIT: If you felt the urge to skin this without the green I would be grateful.

That's normal.....presumably your device is running WM 6.0+ ??

If you haven't already, you should soft-reset your device to make sure the installation is complete; most users then change one of their soft keys to call up the HTC Action Screen (search the site for "Soft key changer") - the program can be found in \Windows and it's called "HTCActionScreen.exe".

You may need to install the "LongPressSendKey" - sounds like it's not installed or configured - (think there's a CAB file somwhere) and assign that to point at "\Windows\HTCActionScreen.exe"

first off i wanna say great work i was using ur htc action screen black qvga v2 en till i came across this.. i wanted to ask if there was any way u can tell me what type of an image file this was so i can skin it.. it doesnt seem to be a .brn. heres a pic of the skin i made for the other action screen im sorry for misposting but id realy like to skin this version..
