Cant create new mail account or edit existing

Hi guys,

well this is annoying me, if I go into the messaging options and click on new account, nothing happens.

Also under messaging options, if I click to edit existing gmail or yahoo account, nothing happens.

A hard reset solves it but as soon as restore the backup, same again. Also start again from hard reset is not an option as have 20-30 programs installed over the last year.

Does anyone know the file or dll that is used for mail options, I could copy it into place or understand the registry key that allows this and could export from hard reset build to my backup build.

Ok I know what you want a shirt but what size? Is it for men or women or boys or girls?

Meaning! What ROM are you using? What kinda Hermes you have? What radio ROM are you using? Is there a conflicting program to email that you are installing? You said HR solves it, so that means its a problem with the program that you are installing! Do it one by one and test and see which causes the issue!

Also email settings are maintained in registry, there is not dll for it.

It is a Imate Jasjam with dopod vanilla WM6 build. So it must be something in the registry.

Do you recommend that I export all the keys associated to mail from the clean build after a HR - I could then import these into the original build once backup restored.

What do you think?

Yes see if that helps to solve the problem. Make sure you going to back up your data before you HR. Good luck.
