Hi people,
I bought a htc p4350. Unfortunatly it come's with the english rom, but i need to change it to portuguese, as this htc is to offer to my girlfriend.

I've already been looking for threads concerning this, but as i am a rookie, i don't understand preety much.

I've already dowloaded the official portuguese rom, and that's all i have in my pc. I was wondering if someone of the experts in here, could give me a hand and explain me what tools needed, and the steps required to make this operation.

I,ve seen a lot of people whose pda's turned to bricks, and i didn't wanted to be a part of them, and it's cause i am a rookie that i'm begging for some guidance before make a huge mistake

portuguese greetings,

what is the spl/ipl on your device?

because the device came with an english rom, you cannot flash a portugese rom without some fun modifications. These are called cid-unlocks, and you have two choices- HardSPL, which is permanent and practically unbrickable once you get it on there, or USPL, which is temporary and easy to use for factory returns. Both of these tools, which you say you have, require you to have an IPL and SPL of greater than 4.
