As many of you know, this forum is filled with "experts" on these phones. Newer people look up to this experts for answers. Today, I will show you how we experts happen to know so much and know the exact link to SOOOO many different things. How we can, out of no where, remember the exact link to something like a cab file for, I don't know, S2U2.

How do we, the experts, do this you ask? The answer: We search!

We click on the search link, put in what the new person asked for and suddenly, we have an answer, link and all...

In all reality, we want to help with knowledge that we have, but PLEASE do not ask for links and such, we are human beings just like you. We don't have the whole forum and all it's threads and web addresses memorized. We literary do the job FOR you of searching whenever you ask for the link. Searching isn't as hard as you think. Just don't overcomplicate the search. Don't search for "what is the link to s2u2", for example, just for "s2u2". Don't post a thread asking for what the best ROM is. Search for the words "best ROM" and you'll realize that this question is ask WAYYYYYYYYY too often. And the answer is always the same, "It depends on what you prefer" and "try them all" with the occasional "worthless n00b, learn2read *spit on you*". Don't let that be you.

But of course... this thread will probably be drowned for ever and no one will SEARCH for it... Oh, the irony.

Hope, Kazzx is just kidding. :)

But, sometimes I noticed that the search doesn't work properly. Even if I give the simple search, for which I got 100 results the previous day/hour, It says no results found. Then shows the advanced search option.

May be some bug in the forum s/w? Or is it due to the traffic? Don't know. I have noticed this many a times. I just check the same after few minutes/hour. Then I get results for the same criteria.

Is this with the newer Google search system or the old search system on the board?

I noticed this when I used "Search this Forum" on the top-right corner of the forum.

This may mislead the newcomers, who may think that nothing exists for their search.

Don't use Search this forum. Use the regular search on the top. That one uses a custom google search. The regular build in search system is horrible.
