Htc Diamond. Please Help Me !

I have just bought HTC DIAMOND and if possible I would like to avoid that the screen become dark ( black ) very very fast.Doing so I can not see the keyboard and I can not touch the different keys when I need to do it.

Go to start>settings>system>battery/energie>advanced(last tab). hear you can set the time it takes the ligt goes dark after a number of minnuts. and you kan also touch te big butten whit the ligts. its touch sensetive.
