BaseHueExpress - change theme color. you cannot use the original black one. go to settings --> Today to change to anyone other than Htc black to make this program work.
Battery Icon - A battery replacement program. Actually I used another one then this one but this is really nice http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=424926&highlight=battery (thx FInixNOver - found it after you typed to me on this thread. Looks a little bit nicer then the on i used before.
Conduits Pocket Player v3.6 - MP3 player - The best I think. It can take winamp 2 skins and that is so cool. for winamp skin go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=441627
CorePlayer v1.2.5 Build 4506 - This video player works full with diamond - AVI in full screen. I don't use this player for mp3 - pocket player is much better for that.
DinarSoft MemMaid v2.3 - Clean your Diamond
ESET Nod32 mobile Antivirus - Good prog but it will bug your volume control. you can only use the volume control with touch and not with buttons. (but you can live with that)
Flash Player 7 - Sadly it cannot work with Opera for Diamond since Opera doesn't support flash (yet anyway) thats why I'm waiting for Skyfire (www.skyfire.com (http://www.skyfire.com)) - it will support not only Flash 6 and 7 but also 8. :-) and full support for java too. Thats nice.!
iFonz - I Phone lookalike program. Work okay with Diamond but maybe there is someone better out there. But it works - also with VGA (you have to make icon size bigger in options.)
iGO8 + Europe works fine with Diamond and connects pretty fast with "Fast GPS"
Lextionary English Dictionary v2.0 - Good Dictionary
Media Connect - Works but not that many channels though.
MS Voice Commander - you need patch to make it work with diamond - can also be found on xda-developers diamond section
NET Framework 3.5 - Important to have to play most (some) games and programs.
Novii Remote (MY BAD - Novii Remote DOESN'T WORK with HTC Diamond - i misplaced the program (used it for my previous phone - but ofcause you need a phone with infrared) AGAIN MY BAD..!
Opera v9.5 Build 1938 Upgrade - Works good. You can also watch youtube videos with this directly in opera via youtube.com and with Flash Player 7 Installed. But its laggs a bit.
Pencil Box Deluxe v3.6 - Good drawing program i cannot say its the best but its one of them. (but u cannot use that many tools - but still really good)
Pocket Live TV - works but pretty expensive.
Pocket Winrar I Know the diamond has a zip program preinstalled on official rom but this program can also open .RAR files. I have it installed but don't think I've ever opened a .RAR file on my phone

Astraware Rocket Mania Control a Rocket via touch screen.
Astraware Zuma Also one of the best games.
Call of Duty 2 Works good in VGA and its controllable.
Concrete PBA Bowling v1.0 Fun touch screen game.
Drum Kit Ace Have Drums in your pocket. works but since the Diamond don't have MultiTouch you cannot use it that good. But you can work around it and it still pretty funny.
Expresso Run Game v1.0 - Good game.
Gamebox Classics 5.0 - Funny - Snake and other game ind a gamepack
GameZoneProject Towers Trap - Fun Defender game.
Gangsta Race - Car game for touch screen
Insaniquarium - The old PC version of Insaniquarium. You have to have this
Motocross Stunt Race - Not that good. But still...

To answer your questions I have updated my must have list on this thread. And sorry for the Novii Remote mistake. My previous phone had infrared and somehow I had removed the program to my HTC Diamond Collection folder. But ofcause Novii Remote DOESN'T WORK with the Diamond.

Yes, all work fine, thats why I mentioned them. But getting them is the hard part cause they arent freeware. I dont want to be banned so I cant tell you where to find them. But Russians will be eager to offer it to you. Or you can buy them, duh.

yes that is the only problem but I've searched everywhere and cannot find anything. according to other threats and forums on this site - other cellphones have the same problem with no solution. but please let me know if you find something...

Hi, Yes, i'm looking too for a free app to remotly browse my computer library by wifi with my Diamond. "REMOTE" for Iphone is nice, but for Iphone only lol. "SFR 1-2 REMOTE" and "NeTREMOTE" are good too but not free...

Was looking for a way to control my XBox Media Center (XBMC) with my Diamond, like a remote control.

After some searching I fond 'XBMCControl'

You controle it using WiFi and the Web interface in the XBMC.

Well as diamond has only one speaker one couldn't say. But it makes a huge difference when listening to music.

With a german Rom, just go to "Einstellungen" (Persönlich) -> "Tasten" there you can change the assignement of button 1 (Taste 1 Halten) to Voice Command.

Unfortunately this is the only button that can be assigned to various functions.

Check the CD inside the Diamond Box. Follow the instruction to register.

Required PDA Phone with minimum 2mp and above Camera/Auto Focus . . .

these days, i only use my stylus to pick my nose.

Great lists. I'm currently looking to fill up my Touch Pro. Upgrading from my Blue Angel is so much work!

I'll try add pics and fuller reviews later.

.mobile Contacts phone edition (this was one of the first thumb only contacts managers. In fact it was originally for PPC without phones, but finally integrated it with phone. Worked wonders for my BA days. Super easy to find people. It still works with Touch Pro but a tiny bug with editing. It's since been abandoned at 1.0, a shame really. You really have to try it to see how its better than anything else)

Pocket Informant 8 (still my fave calendar app and 8 seems even better, you can choose really nice themes and show icons for calendar view which makes life so much easier than bars. Need to find more icons)

hiCalc (switched from 1calc. If you haven't tried it, its the best bar none because it shows you the formulas you've just entered. It also has everything 1 calc had, plus more, like more conversions ect.)

PhatNotes (advanced notes taking. Doesn't have inking input, but great for regular notes. has encryption built in and uses database which can be backed up with the desktop app. Another great feature is categories views, there are tons of ways to show them. Also spellcheck add on.)

Lexisgoo (english dictionary been using it since BA days. Its one of the prettiest thats for sure. Has steven hawking voice, idioms, quicklinks, related words. It's a bit concise, i'll probably look for an unabridged one next)

LingvoSoft Translation dictionary (has almost all languages. I'm using it for japanese. It's pretty awesome, comes with japanese keyboard which is better than the built in keyboards as it has num row on top. Also comes with fonts so it will display native language correctly. Installed it half hour ago and impressed)

TomTom7 (first foray into GPS. Tried to get GarminXT working, but gave up after step30. GPS seems flakey though, tried a bunch of stuff, but still wouldn't get a lock sometimes. Do others work any better? I don't think my maps have any 3d to justify trying any other GPS software since i live in Hawaii. Probably wait for Google Maps 1.3 where you can downloaded selected areas)

SPB Backup (i use to use sprite, but it has to reset everytime and seems a bit buggy. SPB seems to work better. I'ave already tested a restore after a ROM upgrade, seems to work decent. Still missing maybe 1 or 2 settings, but seems to keep stuff that Sprite didn't from BA like call history settings)

HandySwitcher (seems to be my favorate task manager so far, i'm currently using it with WkTASK [free]. WkTASK doesn't have a decent task manager list, but has a nice battery meter at the top. SPB Pocket Plus had this too, but seems a bit flakey on the Touch Pro, i use to love that on my BA as it included everything, the battery bar, task manager and close/minimize manager. Wisebar seems really buggy too. So far i'm still trying them out, Wisebar, WkTASK, HandySwitcher, SPB Pocket Plus. LMK what you guys find works!)

Resco File Explorer 2008 (08 versions works really well with thumb, much better than total commander i feel.)

AstroNavigator II (great for seeing what the heck planet is shining so bright over there, breat thumbing and much better looking than others suchas nightsky, pocket stars)

Didn't even start looking for games yet :)
