Game tab for our Diamond!

Could someone create a cab with a game tab for Diamond.

A game tab would be nice or perhaps just a way to link to your games folder via one of the application shortcuts.

I tried creating one to the Games folder and also to a shortcut to the Games folder but neither work.

The shourtcut to the games folder is realy nice! :eek:
But at time it only works for the WWE Roms no other language is supported.......
I have tried it on the 1.93 german rom... don´t work! :(
I have renamed the Spiele folder in (C:/windows/startmenü/spiele) to games but even doesn´t work (Think because the path name is different in GER and WWE Roms..)!

Can somebody make a version for the german rom?? :rolleyes:

The 3rd slot in Programs tab stays empty =(

maybe i need to look at the reg. and see what i come up with ..

maybe thats something the forum does i dunno..

Its probably related to the apostrophe in Programma's . Can you edit the _Gamesfolder.lnk file in \windows and add quotation marks around "#\Windows\Startmenu\Programma's\Spelletjes\?shellr es.dll,-8229" ?

btw, the forum is inserting spaces, so watch out for that.

Are you sure? Remember it starts with an underscore _Gamesfolder.lnk .

If its really not there that would also explain your problem.

Hey there,
i did find the _Gamefolder.lnk and tried to edit it. It was originaly saying:

92#"\Windows\_folderview.exe" \Windows\Startmenu\Programma's\Spelletjes\?shell res.dll,-8229

so to what do i edit this ....
Putting quotation marks between the seccond "/Windows and -8229"
doesn't make the cab work either..

Ive done some testing, and WM does not have a problem with the apostrophe.

OK, lets take it one step at a time. Extract these two files to your device. Copy these _Folderview to your \windows folder, and click on this shortcut (it does not matter where you place it) It should open the games folder. It that does not work there is not much else than can be done.

Hey Surur,
The 2 files changed nothing as they were already present in my Windows dir.
When i open the startmenu on the device it shows me the game dir as you can see in the screenshots. This means everything works like it was intended.

The problem with your cab is basicly that it canot find a component, thats what its telling me atleast maybe its a reg problem i don't know. the path's
seem to be not the problem. The reason that it works on the other posters diamond is also a riddle to me ...
Anyway look at the screenies maybe you see something you missed up until now.

No...it doesn't work...I disabled de TF3D...In TF3D config it doesn't appear the games tab...I restarted Diamond and the situation is the same...:(

The cab is not meant to create a games tab - no-one has done that yet. Its just meant to create a sub-directory under the Programs tab for you to keep your games in.

So, in short, there is no games tab (Yet).
