I'm on R7 at the moment but could you please look into that screen lock bug that happens when u read emails or sms? Looks great, but I want it in yellow, and I want it to wake me up in the morning with a cup of tea, and I want it to be able to cook pop tarts but not too hot your last roms poptart cooker was a little too hot, I want it to to communicate with my vacuum cleaner and have it clean my room. the power button is widely used.
when unlock the device , lock the device[turn off screen lock key] and watching time,i offen push the power button ,many times a day.

I've tried ThrottleLauncher earlier and I found it too slow. So I hope the driver speedup will make TL usable.

I don't think that's ThrottleLauncher, personally. ThrottleLauncher required a load of each 'page' when you moved over to them. Unless he did that for all of the pages before the video, then I'd say it's something else.

Also notice that the softkey buttons change depending on the page. I don't think TL can do that, either.

I think he may very well have ported the Manila interface to QVGA, and that the drivers just offer that much of a performance boost that it'd run that smoothly.

But I suppose we'll find out when it gets released. :)

what you have made is incredible, both in terms of user interface and practicallity. The scrolling is smooth, the graphics and layouts are appealing : HTC should have put you in charge for the cretion of their touch flow roms ;)

Clearly though, you've managed to give the HTC touch cruise a decent look. The main drawback with all of these WM devices has always been user interface and ganeral usage ergonomics; no one wants to have to take out a stylus and poke a screen when flicking through picks, making and managings calls etc. That's why the iphone has been successful (that and the army of apple fans ;) ) the iphone could be used with a finger, and it could be used with style. Now, thanks to you, the TC will at last look good and perform well !

Oh, and I didn't even mention the 3D driver your cooking up for us ! That deserves an standing ovation on its own !

I am new here.
This nessage is for UDK. I am using ur Rom because u r simply the best.
But i have to let u know about one mistake that u have from the begining of ur work. I have in my car a car radio with a bluetooth conection and the telephon does not want to conect to the wireless stereo. But the hands free works.
Also it is a problem with conection with aother phone, bluetooth conection between two phones does not work. I cant tick the enable bluetooth explorer.
I hope i am not the only one that is using this, cuz I havent sean this problem b4.

But i have to let u know about one mistake that u have from the begining of ur work. I have in my car a car radio with a bluetooth conection and the telephon does not want to conect to the wireless stereo. But the hands free works.

On my car kit both work flawlessly with R7 and R8 (haven't tested other uDK ROMs)

This is nothing new. It's just a new device with touchflo 3d, which the diamond and touch pro come with.

This is the whole point, UDK has something that may not just be some battery status plugin, it may be a somewhat official version of the touchflo 3d, but modded for us.

Agree with the post above...Udk's roms are awesome, but this is a whole new level, and generally speaking, I think the Polaris has had less "development" than some of the other HTC devices, like the Kaiser, and so this potential giant step forward has people going crazy.

I also know that this is probably a huge amount of work, and far be it from me to even think of making any demands on the developer, but I think people would really love just to have an idea (even if it's a general "ballparking") as to when it might be released, even in beta form!!

Then we could stop feeling the need to check this website every 15 minutes!! :)

I know what's going on here, UDK is a HTC double agent he makes a ROM which looks amazing then makes everyone wait so when it arrives everybody rushes to flash it......BUT it's a secret weapon the ROM actually bricks all of our devices and hey presto! no more video driver problems. HTC can sell us the newest product they have and their problem goes away.

I think UDK is really asking for all this attention by giving so much publicity to his upcoming ROM. He has opened this thread about it and also the [Sep 03] Some news about the 3D Drivers (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=422064) thread. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame him for doing so, nor for trying to earn as much money for his work as he can. That's his right and I understand it. I will also donate when it's done. But nice videos and screenshots make a lot of people curious and impatient. You can't blame those people for that. Don't get me wrong, I don't like reading through countless messages asking when it'll come either, but the posts that react on them are equally polluting to this thread. As a matter of fact, so is my message :)

TBH i wish udK didnt say anything about this rom and just left it with the other thread about working on the 3d drivers, i for one cant wait any longer and would rather have woken up one morning and this thread video and rom download just be there without us knowing it was coming...... instead it just feels like we have this wonderful piece of software being dangled in front of us for a week and its out of our reach.... lol.

BUT no matter how long we wait, if it is how the video shows, this will be amazing and well worth the wait...... all i can say is .....
