www.logmein.com, the free Remote Desktop Program is now mobile for those of you who didn't know.

I just tried it on my WM6.1 and it works great! :) Works through firewalls, routers, and no need for a static IP!

SO SWEET! I'm going to try this out now. I've been waiting a long time for this news.

Thanks!

I've been using it for a long time, maybe a couple of years now, on my WM phones to remotely operate PCs.
Are you saying something else changed?

Yes, now they actually have a mobile version thats better quality and easier to navigate, as far as I've known, this is new.

All I saw was a desktop version that lets you see your mobile from your desktop. Is there a version that lets you see your desktop from your mobile? If so, can you provide the URL?

As I said, I have been controlling my desktop comupters for free using LogMeIn on my mobile using a specific mobile install for a few years now.

It has worked (and worked well I may add) on my mobile.

Here is the new one where you can access your PC from your PDA:
https://secure.logmein.com/pda/

Where do you see the option to control your mobile from your PC?

After a little research, it appears this has been available since 2006.

As I said, not exactly new.

It looks like it just has a 30 day or 120 minute free trial. How is it free?

remotelyanywhere (from same company) allows you to have full control of your pc through pda... it has a plugin for pocketIE that completely blows remote desktop out of the water.

"LogMeIn Free" would be, umm, FREE!

The free version doesn't allow to to transfer files or remotely print.

Used it FREE for years on my PDAs and PCs.

LogMeIn free is terrific. I use it for many purposes, including remotely controlling desktop PCs when I'm on the road.

And... it IS free.
