Hi
I'd really like some advice to help me diagnose and fix my Exec. The situation is:
* not touched for about a year
* back then was running a WM6 rom, can't remember which
* back then it would not hold charge very well and would turn off during calls, so I stopped using it
now:
* nothing happens when power button pressed
* no light when charging - assumed it was the battery, so I've replaced it - but no change.
* Can enter bootloader by power+light+reset
* bootloader says 'Serial... V1.00' and switches to USB when a cable is plugged in
* when running the bootloader, the device is recognised as 'Pocket PC Sync' or similar
* Can enter the hard-reset screen (Press 0/X etc) and will happily stay on that screen
It has had a few knocks when it was in regular use, so I'm open to it being unsaveable - but if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I'd appreciate it.
One other thing to note is that I don't have the original charger any more - using the one from my Hermes.

..although that seems to be more for devices that go to the bootloader when the power button is pressed?
