sidekick lx problem

I recieved a sidekick lx from a friend and I bought a simcard for it. The only problem is when I try to register my sim card on the phone it says the phone is alredy registered with t- mobile. I haven't been able to get back in touch with my friend so I'm pretty much stuck at this point. Can anyone help me??

i got this sidekick lx phone from t-mobile by sharp i got it from us, is there anyway that i can unlock this phone so i can use it in indonesia
