Can anyone explain why or what happens you you get stuck at the boot loader screen?

Hey everyone.

First I know there are other boot loader programs out there to fix this, but that is not the point of the thread.

Im looking for the reason the phone gets stuck at the boot loader during a ROM update? Is it a hardware freeze? Or software? On the phone side of things, or the PC?

Im just curious as to whats really happening when it occurs.

Normally what happen next, is that you go and READ the Wiki

The correct term is called "You bricked your device" Sorry to hear that and there are many possible reasons like bad ROM, hardware problem etc. If you can't flash it again you will likely have to take it to a service center. Good luck.
