can't remove voice mail symbol?

I swapped sims when abroad and got a voice mail when returning to the uk I swapped sims again. But alas the voicemail symbol is still present on my phone. I have tried calling my provider and seeing if I have any voicemail but the answer is no. Can anyone tell me how to remove the voicemail symbol???? thanks jd76

surely there must be someone out there that knows how to remove the voicemail symbol...any help reg tweak anything would be appreciated. thanks jd

thanks but managed to find this out myself it was a dword value in Hkey_Current_user_system that had to be set to 0. thanks again...

Nevermind, called & left a new voicemail, then deleted it. Symbol gone.
