Working great! Quick question, where did you get that AIM program? I would love to load that on my Titan as well. (currently using slick)

Only problem I have is in the today HTC plugin, where I try to set up my contacts it cannot access contacts. (i suspect it's because the default contact program is now icontact). I'm not too worried, because I'm using the contact shortcut in the cube.

Well you don't really need to select multiple messages anymore, this is because of I added a Mark All Read or Delete All

I installed the Alien Suite by PROBEX.

Everything works; basically just the clock install and then changing / swaping out the icon photos in the 2D TouchFlo Windows Directory.

SMS kills Touchflo now.

It worked fine before, just wonding if this was a native issue other folks where experiencing or if the clock install did it, or if it's just not liking me now. :mad:

Did the exact same thing for me. Installed Probex suite over WDM Rom and everything works, but going to the sms page kills touchflo2D?

Just the same way you flashed the ROM to the version your using now - Download the latest version, connect your device to your PC and run the executable and follow the onscreen steps

still the problem is there

you leave a song playing and about 30 sec into it the program like restarts. because of this, it cannot load my music library. and every time it launches it attempts to add the music and then repeats the whole process...... is it just me??

Loaded 1.5 bell clean today, I'm on Telecom NZ. Works fine.
Couple of things, one annoying thing the Full QWERTY keyboard doesn't remain on last used input i.e. ABC, it always defaults back to T9. This is annoying, how can I change this behavior? I prefer ABC..
Is it possible to change back to the original Full Qwerty the dark one?

Also how can I change the soft launch options on the Today screen, I'd like Contacts back on the Right hand side instead of Programs.

Finally the screens prometheus9000 pointed out, I don't see them included in 1.5 Bell clean? What do I need to load to get them?

Wow, I like this ROM. I have not had that much time to play around byt one thing i noticed is, when in my 'inbox' I cant 'select all messages', 'delete all' or 'mark all as read' through the menu option. It always brings up the mms settings menu. Does anyone else have this problem? I have tried both hard and soft resets but same problem

However, now my Touch only shows up as "Whosdaman Windows Media Device" and I can not create a partnership to load some of my favorite programs that are not in this really cool ROM.

My phone works fine. I have an internet connection on the Touch but my computer no longer recognizes my Touch as a PPC Device, just a Media Device.

My computer is a Vista machine that I have never had a partnership problem with previously.

I've tried both Hard Resets and Soft Resets and all had the same effect on the issue. No effect.

Any body have any suggestions?

Yeah, Ive noticed this since earlier versions - you need to search the registry for references to whosdaman (there are 2 of them) in HKLM\Ident under NAME and OrigName and replace them with your name or what your device was referenced as - that will clear that up

Once you have extracted the BuildOS RUU double click it. Then double click the ROMUpdateUtility and follow the directions.

Yes, to flash your ROM firstly you need to unlock it, but once its unlocked you can flash it to anything HTC Touch based ROM including back to the stock ROM as well

Just a note, make sure you read up on how to unlock it VERY carefully as well as how to relock it also for if you are needing to take it in for service you will want to flash the ROM back to the original and then relock it as well

First thing I would try is to find a cab of IContact.08 (I believe that is the version WDM used) and install it, then it should be uninstallable after that

Otherwise, find another contact manager program and install it and use it as default

WDM may be able to make it removable and post something but nothing Ive seen directly so far

First thing I would try is to find a cab of IContact.08 (I believe that is the version WDM used) and install it, then it should be uninstallable after that

Otherwise, find another contact manager program and install it and use it as default

WDM may be able to make it removable and post something but nothing Ive seen directly so far

I really like this rom, it's much more usable than WM6.1 on its own, but god I really have to say the keyboard on this is awful. I was using the diamond keyboard on the stock sprint 6.1 firmware and it was so much better. This is totally unresponsive and I type too fast 90% of the time. :mad:

Warning after done using GPS make sure you close Htc GPS tool otherwise it will drain you battery.

(is it the roaming symbol?). when I do a *228, and press 1, the systems tells me it can't program my phone. when i try to make a call, the system says it can't authenticate my call.

thanks for the help guys. it got rid of the program by installing the cab. but since i'm an idiot and impatient i thought i could fix it through reg edits and i fucked up my contacts soft key. on my tf2d soft key under the contacts, when i press all people it won't open anything. i just need to know how to finish this string with the correct ending so it will open my contacts. hklm/software/microsoft/shell/rai. i have \windows\:MSCONTACTS contacts.

I had this problem when I let the customization run for Sprint, and I am Verizon. I ran the radiorefurbish.exe/refurbish after I put the phone in Airplane Mode. And then all I had to do was reboot and and then *228 option 2 and all has been great since then.

This is a common that has been discussed repeatedly, but here ya go LOL

step 1: rename picture you want as a background to HH_FW_Background.png (MUST be a PNG file)

step 2: disable in the settings>today the touchflo style

step 3: profit , umm no wait, LOL copy the file you just renamed to HH_FW_BACKGROUND.PNG to the \windows directory (use a file manager like resco or total commander or something to do this and click on the YES button when it asks you to overwrite the file)

step 4: go back into settings>today and restart touchflo

I assume you have the stock sprint rom?.. If so you need to start at square one. Read: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20370

From there you need only one of the roms.

Clean = Very few applications installed
Full = alot of applications installed

You should do as much reading as you can about unlocking and upgrading as it can go very wrong if you skip a step and you can end up with a bricked phone (Unusable - Void Warranty).

Do so at your own risk.

There is tons of information you should read in sticky's here and at ppcgeeks before you go ahead and do this.

The basic procedure for unlocking and upgrading...

1.) Run ImCokeMans Unlocker (Make Sure It Displays Correctly Before Proceeding)

2.) Upgrade Radio (If Required)

3.) Download the rom to your computer. (Not your Sd card on the Phone)

4.) Connect your phone via active sync and run the RomUpdateUtility found in the downloaded rom folder.

That's pretty much it.

Okay, so I am not new to flashing roms. I have been doing so for the better part of 4 years. However, I am new to these forums and am also new to the htc vogue. I really would like your rom, however I keep encountering a CRC with the RUUresource.dll??? Furthermore, what is driving me nuts is that EVERY rom I have tried from xda, has given me a crc on either the RUUresource.dll or the RUU_signed.nbh. What the hell am I doing wrong?? Could it be caused by the fact that I am at work and going through a firewall?

i just got my wifes new touch replacement in the mail, relocked her old phone and back to original sprint....but anyhow after testing a few roms (newer than 1.6) such as dettes 2.3, vetvitos, cristal4 or other i found your older v1.6 still the bomb! it has everything i want in there so please lemme know when 1.7 is out! i dunno if i should flash her new phone to 1.6 or try dettes 2.3 again...anyway ill keep waiting, if u want me to beta test 1.699999 for u i will gladly do so :)

I will be giving away all of my OEM's I have made to anyone who wants them

They work with all kitchens and work perfectly....I only keep the new stuff I threw away everything I don't use

I will not be answering questions to them at all or how to use them, but if you wish to use them you may ask and I will give you the link and password to the file

All I ask for is 100% of the credit for everything that you use of mine, that is it

I was considering selling my kitchen to one person and that would be it, but instead I am going to be kind and give them away sorta...

1) First 25 people get everything and I don't care if you share or not just don't post it
2) Must credit me if using my OEMs (And I will know)
3) All request must be a formal PM addressed to me, I do have the right to say no

I just flashed my first rom yesterday to my Sprint Touch and it was your 1.6. Why would you want to go back to official Sprint? There are a few things that I had to add and a couple to get working.

Anybody managed to get the bluetooth volume up when using Voice Command? I used the Sprint Touch Pro for a week and Voice Command worked very well with my Jabra BT 8040. Unfortunately, the touch screen was not responsive enough for me so I came back to my Touch and plunged in with the whole rom flashing experience.

Hey, I had the same problem initially...but recently i was trying other roms....not even close to WDM's roms, and went back to v1.6 it started to work...dunno why? but after
2nd flash it worked.
Although, now that skyfire is available in Canada..it's way faster than Opera, and opens virtually everything a PC browser would do!!!

I've been a vetvito man for the past 5 months or so... but since he's been having some problems with his roms lately, I came to checkout the 9/30 release from WDM and I'm lovin it! Its so fast, yet so perfectly filled with most of the necessities, with little extra.

And a huge plus... people who make roms that:
- volume slider defaults to system (HUUGE nuance for me)
- no pre-existing weather locations
- inclusion of the videosites.htm file (i always seem to lose this file)
- combined backlight/power settings
- default inclusion of screen sensitivity cab
- inclusion of the File Explorer Extension
- calibri fonts


WDM you at least fill the bill on many of them, at least the main ones.
I would like to see the new manila config program in your next release that allows you do configure a whole lot of stuff.

If its anything to you, i created an account just to let you know, i just now too have discovered your ROM, but I just now got this phone. It was the first ROM i saw that I thought was worth a damn, and went through the trouble to flash it all a couple times to get it there. I would think that people still coming to your roms, and still finding them later and later, would be a good thing to hear. That its so good people will find out about it now, and then. Maybe not. I was excited to find this ROM and it made my phone 1000x more fun and useful. Ill continue to use this rom until its too outdated.

v1.7 will not be coming....I'm sorry but this ROM has way too many bugs in it

After one days use of the v1.7, things have only gone from bad...to worse

I will be giving away all of my OEM's I have made to anyone who wants them

They work with all kitchens and work perfectly....I only keep the new stuff I threw away everything I don't use

I will not be answering questions to them at all or how to use them, but if you wish to use them you may ask and I will give you the link and password to the file

All I ask for is 100% of the credit for everything that you use of mine, that is it

I was considering selling my kitchen to one person and that would be it, but instead I am going to be kind and give them away sorta...

Rules are this:
1) First 25 people get everything and I don't care if you share or not just don't post it
2) Must credit me if using my OEMs (And I will know)
3) All request must be a formal PM addressed to me, I do have the right to say no
4) Last but not least, DO NOT ask for help using the OEMs because I'm dumping everything after the first 25 people

I'm sorry, but I have given up and I will be returning to the Official Sprint 6.1 and installing everything though cab :-\

Welcome back, I have been using the Full Bell Rom and it is amazing, couldn`t make it any better.

Hint: Your last Sprint Full and Clean builds were 99% perfect. The only issue was that if you ever rotate the screen, the camera seems to hold onto that rotated state and even when you rotate the screen back, the camera still seems to stay rotated. So what you get is the camera in horizontal view, but in portrait position. so you get like half a screen, and the button overlays show that they are correct, but really they are rotated 90 degrees.

Otherwise, I think it's perfect.

clean has only the basics... manilla, opera, thats about it
full has lots of pre-installed things... manila, opera, tcpmp, streaming media, PCXPShutdown, sipchange, a few games, etc. Still very fast.

The link to the Update Radio location doesn't seem to work for me - or maybe I'm just not able to view it. I'm logged in to the other site. Is there anywhere else I can download the required radio update? This will be my first attempt at all this so I'm really not sure what I need and don't need.

Another suggestion for the new ROM would be to eliminate some of the apps from the full version.. There are some games that lock up the sprint vogue, maybe just keep 3-4 good ones. From the apps, I-nigma, and yahoo go Beta could be removed. Yahoo Go was crashing after entering the userid and pw.

yes you will have to hard reset, and \Sprint Clean v2.0 test rom is up on PPCGeeks....just to see if there's anything wrong on the rom first

First off I want to thank you for a great update 1.6 !!!
When I first installed it. Opera worked on mine but it suddenly stopped working after I went into the manilla 2d settings. Now when I click on the opera icon it won't do anything. OperaL.exe (lite?) works but Opera.exe doesn't did I do something. Can I just reinstall opera 9.5 if so where can I find it?
