OMG! Someone please help me - 9502

I downloaded the WM6.1 1.73 ROM for the 9502. I follow all the prompts and when I enter the ROM Lock Code that i-Mate gave me, it comes back with Error [206]: Unlock Code Check Failed and proceeds to tell me to enter in the correct code.

i-Mate swears by the code. I have a feeling that they gave me a bogus code because they don't want me upgrading to WM6.1 before the official ROM. They've told me that the error occurs when I have PC apps running in the background. I've killed off most of the processes expect for Activesync.

I've tried this on XP SP2 and SP3.

Any ideas anyone?!?

hey there,

don't panic bz i had the same problem, u just have to reset the i-mate (it is better to disconnect the battary for 3 min) and make sure that your USB cable is OK, and the most important that your battery is fully recharged.

then u should try again, and i hope that solves your problem.;)
