FInixNOver 3.6/3.6Light

As my last work for a while, I'm releasing a ROM dedicated to the P3600i users.
Don't ask if it's possible to install on a P3600 as I've already released the P3600 version.

The ROM Skinpack is Black as it was the winning color in the poll I posted along with the FInix3.6 ROM Thread.

Features:

CE OS 5.2.20273 Build 20273.1.3.3

The items with this color are common to both versions; the rest is only available in Normal version.

Note:

Vijay today toggle works properly in this build (it had the problem also, but I was able to solve it).
To select multiple SMS in messaging, go to "menu->select messages" and choose the option you need (it's like the selection in contacts).

Special Thanks:

To anyone I might have forgotten... Sorry
And to the XDA community, where we get so much from, that wouldn't be available to us otherwise.

Battey life is fine here....the ROM is very stable and memory remains at around 23meg ever since it was first loaded (after adding my normal programs).
I am running radio 1.50 but realistically I have never really had poor battery life with any of the radios.

I fixed my batterylife issues. It looks like one of my connections wasn't connected successfully all the time.. so it was draining the battery life. I fixed that at now all is good :)

This is THE ONLY stable (well for 4 days day, the longest time i have ever had with a 3600i rom not doing a hard reset). So im really impressed. :)

Thank you!

Any reason the Assertive memory management is loaded only in the ultra light version?

Great fast ROM...
love the full black theme....

I have to say that i feel that version 20273 is better than 20275.
not sure about version 22222... very special version number (not sure what does it have or difference from other version)

Greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat

Great ROM - really stable (though one hard reset), love the theme (at first I wasn't sold on it but it really grows on you).

Thank You so much. It is amzing and you've done so good! I like it too much seems it faster than other OS.

By the way, I don't like the black WM6.1 screeen (appear when boot) so much. I like the Green orginally WM6.1 screen. Can i change it back? haha

And I like O2 Plus's Taks manager than WkTASK. WkTASK seens use more ram than O2 Plus. Moreover, I think O2 Plus's calendar view in Today screen is the best.

Anyway, Thanks so much!

I unfortunately have to retract my statement about it being stable... having a run of hard resets unfortunately... Every week or so the phone slows right down, then stalls altogether, and won't reboot without a hard reset.

Any one else having problems? I really love this ROM and are loathe to give it up but don't know what to do if these problems continue...

10 days on from my last post and still no hard re-sets etc. The only HR I have had with this ROM was when I had PIM backup doing automatic backups every day. I am ptretty sure it conflicted with the operation of something else on the system (Most likely Tomtom) one day and that was when it crashed. Since then I manually do a backup every couple of days (this is enough for me) and it is now over 4 weeks and going strong.

If you download this RAR http://www.4shared.com/file/61745448...ity_WM_61.html
it is the basic package needed. Unpack it and then copy the nbh file into the folder. You can then run the Romupdate utility as normal.

Just bear in mind that this ROM is only for P3600i and you will need to have flashed with Olipro's Hard SPL as explained here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=399827

My pleasure....Your ROM is still going strong...no HR at all, not even SR required. Phone has been up for nearly 5 weeks now and the only complaint from my other half is the annoying system administrator message after sending an SMS.

Hope you and tnyynt are enjoying your Diamonds but it would be nice to see both of you back with new Trinity ROMs.

WOW!! I'm very glad to hear that!
About the system administrator messages, that's very easy to disable.
Open messaging, press menu->tools->options...
then press *SMS \ MMS and unselect "Request delivery notifications".
That's it! But if she still wants to know if the message was sent or not (not delivered, just sent), you can activate the message sent popup by editing the registry as follows:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings
"SMSNoSentMsg"=Dword:1<---Change this value to 0 and you'll see the popup after sending an SMS.

I still have my trinity. I'm just not using it as my main device now.
I'm pretty short on time these days. After 11 years, I decided to continue my education, so now, after working I still have to attend to classes, which leaves very little time, but I check here whenever I can. Maybe I'll bring you a new ROM one of these days.

Thanks a lot Andych for your help, But the link to 4shared for the basic package is not valid. Would you please upload it again. Thanks
yes I know that this one is just for P3600i. I have P3600 and P3600i .
I downloaded the 3.6ver for P3600 and installed it , works great the only thing I noticed is the ActiveSync killer doesn't work right since I have to Stop the Activesync all time.

Im sorry to break the news, but i experience a random hardreset. Well it was actually a soft reset, but when the device boot up, it actually hardreset. My P3600i was running smoothly for 1 week, then suddenly all the programs didnt want to launch, so i decided to soft reset.

Any solution for this? Anyone experienced similar incident. Thanks.

Without knowing why it happened there is no solution. Mine has been running for umm nearly 5 or 6 weeks now without a glitch. No SR or HR, memory is always good, runs Tomtom 7 no problems.
As far as I am concerned it is the most stable ROM I have run on my P3600i and that includes the original WM6 ROM from the factory.

Hi Andych,

Can this rom use Edge in AU (I'm with Telstra); I'm wondering because I have other WM phone that refuses to use Edge (only GPRS).

I just want to know if anybody can use Edge reliably using this rom.

Thanks,
Kurni

This battery meter is not so bad, it decreased from 90% to 80% without intermediate steps (79, 78, 77 ...). The screen is not well visible in the sunlight. Except that everything is fine

Do you have any idea how to get HTC USB to PC to work... like use your phone as a card reader for the memory card for faster data transfers :)

Thank you!

You can use WM5torage.
Just have to go to menu -> troubleshooting, and check both options.
It may not work at first. It will work once you are able to get both options selected.
