Best way to lock device

What is the best way? Is it some key combo or is there a better software solution with some sliding motion or whatever?

the forum is full with threads, solutions and programs in development for locking yr device, from S2U2 to the G sensor locking. search, read, try and decide for yourself which one is the best for you. opening a new thread on this subject makes searching more difficult.
