I installed igo8, then, after install it, go on "\programmi\igo8\" and delete igo8 folder, at end, go on "scheda di memoria\igo8\" nd create a shortcut on "\windows\start menu\programmi\" (or using manila 2D programs links!) for exe "scheda di memoria\igo8\igo8.exe\" to execute directly the igo8.exe stored into "scheda di memoria" and works well
the rom, with manila 2D, increase, reducing a little the free internal storage memory, but igo8 and also tomtom7 work perfectly ;)

Nella tua rom vecchia, avevo cancellato il collegamento a irbth (in esecuzione automatica), il quale disattivava, ad ogni accensione del dispositivo, la radio bluetooth ed infrarossi. Fatto quello, funzionava. Ma in questa rom non trovo quel file (credo non sia nemmeno installato irbth...).

Nel caso non ci sia modo di abilitarlo, riusciresti a creare un cab per fixare il problema??

it enables a new tab in manila 2D, for pois searching into manila 2D's googlemaps plugin

how install it:
disable manila2d from settings\today items:
connect ppc to pc by usb cable, open ppc \windows folder, overwrite the 2 files with the ones into the rar, re-enable manila 2d by settings\today items, and now you can see a new poi search ggoglemaps plugin ;)

-add 3G botton in comm manager (maybe at the "fly mode" place cause "phone" has already fly mode option swetching off);
-delete (with regedit) sim contact in all my contact tab;
-in phone pad color blu and not green when you are calling;
-delete WOW_HD programs and add htc equalizer cause is full of bugs and controll too much functions...also call volume.

ps: I've custom your autodisconnectGPRS program at 14 min but it doesn't work... :(

Ciao Ervius, ho risolto i problemi col bluetooth semplicemente installando "advanced configuration tools" ed abilitando OBEX (di default non è abilitata sulla rom). Anche io però ho notato che il volume audio è un pò troppo bassino, pur avendolo già messo al massimo (la tua rom vecchia era decisamente più performante in questo). C'è qualche possibilità di impostare l'orologio in home con stile tipo Diamond (solo orologio digitale, l'analogico con le lancette non mi piace molto...)?

1) for now I'm not editing the manila commanager package, so you have that you see;
2) I like the sim contacts, I use them, but with a reg key you can hide them;
3) phone is blue now, also while calling, nomore green!
4) WOW_HD, amplifies my volume, while ringing, while speeking with phone, while htc equalizer is good only with headsets!(but if you want you can install the cab!)

yes of course, i you haven't...
i was thinking about a bad flashing so i retourned to the original wm5 rom with original radio, but it doesn't activate at all.
I thought you could know something in order to help my wifi wake up again.
is there any software that can help me format the ppc, clear all, i don't know.... i tried mtty but it didn't help.
otherwise where can i find an help?

2) Sometimes the clock is locked and the PDA has a very slow response and the only solution is a soft reset or deselect Touchflo Today plugin. For example today at 10:40 The PDA was locked at 0:36 and the alarm doesen't work at 9:00.

on my ppc wifi works!!!

Ervius, I can confirm that wifi doesn't work properly. On my WLAN it gets a proper DHCP address, but the connection doesn't go anywhere. I also noticed some problems in the shared internet connection, while I can correctly browse thru both IE and Opera 9.5, I can't establish a connection with my laptop. It worked properly with your previous rom.

if I delete musicmanager from running process by task manager (the real task manager not present in rom) than there aren't any problems with call, but If I listen some mp3 and then someone call me the problem came at the and of call:
music restart!
I know that it isn't a ervius error but manilla bug...
so I'm waiting for the correction release

Me too problem with wlan and sometime music after call and... can be a problem born flashing the ROM? some people have, other haven't
Can we hard reformat trinity and after reflash? mytt don't work
You know a better program to "hard format" the trinity?

1)Cancella memoria erase data, reset dispositivo make a soft reset of your device, there are 2 different apps.
2)first time i've flashed info gps don't run...after a soft reset it works for me and there isn't the same of gps esterno...

I know that the MAC address don't depends if wifi is or is not activated, it's the address of the card i think.

I think is not a problem of your ROM but the result of a flashing problem. (BT work very well...)

i passed all the day trying understand the issue and i think, yes, the problem wasn't due to the rom, but to the flashing.
After the flash something gone wrong and the wlan eeprom was overwritten. The result is that wlan doesn't turn on and in settings-connections-wireless you can't see any MAC address; also in bootloader after USB sometimes is written WLAN ERROR.
The solution is to write a new MAC address as explained in this topic (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=322225) about Hermes problems over the wlan.
I think actually there isn't any solution for our trinity.
Only if Olipro, Ervius and Elias have a solution about it.
In this topic i can only ask Ervius if what i said is correct or not.
Any suggestion welcomed, thank you.

To those of you who are trying to use Igo8 (and maybe TOMTOM) - well.. you will have to accept that these SATNAV cannot co-exit with MANILLA2D because of overwhelming memory requirements for TRINITY. Solution is simple - do not launch Igo8 from within MANILLA, but turn it first off (uncheck TODAY plugin "TOUCHFLO") and then launch IGO through start/programs etc.

Someone has the same problem? I have enabled GPRS Autodisconnect after 20 min.

the main problem is that the manila 2D occupies around 11 MB in memory,
so, rom is 11 Mb more when I insert it into.....
so you can do few to have more memory avaiable!!!
for igo8 and tomtom....
I tryed both yesterday, and on my ppc they work!!!

you didn't specify if you use xp or vista, witch version of activesync you istalled, if you had wm5, activesinc is obsolete to sync your ppc with the pc, and if on my pc all works well, witch suggestion can give to U?
install last activesync release and reset your pc, can happen sometimes that the pc hangs for sync itself with ppc......

i use vista and i never had problems with previous wm6 roms... i was synchronizing just before flashing and it was all ok... i was using a Elegance 2.14 ROM. I flashed several roms so far and never had such problems. I hope you could suggest somethink but nevermind, i'll wait and retry with another release. Cheers

cause I see your messages (only 17) and I've thougth that maybe you need activesync 4.5...
is it possible?

I tried several WM6 Rom... the latter was the Elegance 2.14, which worked perfectly in terms of synchronization. I don't use active sync since vista has its own software (Centro gestione dispositivi windows mobile) for synchronization with wm based devices.

For colored battery bar I suggest you to use "Batti" and set background colors in "black".

I Ervius I have a solution for bug of the music:

If you change setting in SRSWOWHD (default is "custom"), the bug is not present, but after soft reset, the setting turn back on "custom", and bug is present.....


For me, if eliminate in the rom WOWHD, the bug disappear...

cambiando l'impostazione in SRSWOWHD (di default è impostato su custom) il bug non si presenta più...
Il problema è che dopo un soft reset il bug si ripresenta e se si controlla l'impostazione in SRSWOW, è ritornata su "custom".... (non cambia nulla disabilitando o abilitando il programma però, bisogna proprio cambiare l'impostazione)

Secondo me, se tu eliminassi il programma in questione dalla rom (SRSWOWHD appunto), il bug sparirebbe del tutto.....

Potresti fare una prova prima di rilasciare la prossima release della rom???

To those of you who are trying to use Igo8 (and maybe TOMTOM) - well.. you will have to accept that these SATNAV cannot co-exit with MANILLA2D because of overwhelming memory requirements for TRINITY. Solution is simple - do not launch Igo8 from within MANILLA, but turn it first off (uncheck TODAY plugin "TOUCHFLO") and then launch IGO through start/programs etc.

In manila meteo tab there is a little traslation's bug: when is night and there are moon without clouds the sentences say "cancella"!
I think that is "clear" in english lang, but in italian is "sereno".
how proceded (?) your work with low volume?
Is my suggest (deleted drivers and wow_hd and repleced them with original drivers and htc equalizer) good for you?

I've just read all the comment, now I've still the v2 intalled since a couple of days and I've expirenced the problem of the music that starts after a call and the wifi that doesn't seem to turn on but if I use some program like WMwifirouter, wifi works, so the mudule isn't dameged.

I'm waiting for the next release hoping in those little improvements that you're talking about.

se io faccio girare un programma (lo metto in funzione) quello mi occuperà tanta ram quanta gliene serve indifferentemente se è installato su device o su sd!

is sure that you'll have more spaces, but only in mamory not in ram.

The wi-fi works well but in Comm Manager --> Impostazioni --> LAN wireless the wifi antenna result switched off and the other tabs are empty.

only Voice_Commander_ITA_2_0_705083 occupes some space, others, all togheter, maybe occupy only 1/2 Mb of space in rom, bwt there is version v5, without Voice_Commander_ITA_2_0_705083 and other some little programs not inserted into rom!

yes, bug for old muis in newest build, solved into version 3.12, more light!!!

What is version 3.12? V6 is 3.11, isn't it?

When I click on START, and i wanna select Program, then the bar graphic selector is not centered. The above comes up also if you select other links. I am testing the V6 version. How can we fix the above? Thanks

I've the same problem with the restore of PIM BACKUP...there aren't all sms backupped and I'm crying because your rom is fantastic...sigh...Have you a solution for this BIG problem (for me)??

i have installed this rom, but when i try to recieve a file via bluetooth i can't do it, i have the 1.46.00.11 radio, but i tried the 1.56.70.11 too with the same result, can anyone help me to resolve this problem?? tanks

ho provato ad installare questa rom, mi trovo benissimo, solo che non riesco a ricevere file via bluetooth, ho provato sia con la radio 1.46.00.11 che con la 1.56.70.11, stesso risultato per entrambe, potreste aiutarmi a risolvere il problema?? grazie...

ps. ho questo problema con qualsiasi rom a quanto pare.... aiuto!!!!!!!

I think that is a problem of esplora risorse bacause realy is "gsfingher" and it has a bug for BT recieve files. try with esplora file..the old files manger!

anche sulla v6 non andava il BT
ma dopo varie prove
ci sono riuscito!!!
allora provate ad attivare il Bluetooth Explorer
e la condivisione File
poi provate ad inviare i file
se non và
deflaggate
e riavviate

ripeto anche sulla 6 c'è questo inceppo
sulle ultime due non so
non riesco a fare un download perbene



also on the v6 the BT didn't go
but after various tests

then you try to activate the Bluetooth Explorer
and the sharing File
then you try to send the files
if not và
deflaggate
and you restart

I also repeat on the 6 there is this I clog
on the last two don't know

deconnect and connect again your pc and ppc!
after that go in "strumenti" (tools) of async and and choose options
now tap again contact syncronization!
and wait till the end!
is normal sometimes....

the main problem is that the manila 2D occupies around 11 MB in memory,
so, rom is 11 Mb more when I insert it into.....
so you can do few to have more memory avaiable!!!
for igo8 and tomtom....
I tryed both yesterday, and on my ppc they work!!!


Hi Ervius, i decided to keep your rom, beacuse is amazing!
But as i just had explained i have some problems about the most powerfull programs.
Someone told me that is possible to add a script that automatically turn off manila when Igo08 is starting!
What do you think of this solution?
And if is possible, could you help me to try this way, because i'm not able to do this!
