I think you need to download MusicID :D! Works like a chram for me, not sure how it would work with installing just a .cab, mine is in my ROM.

I know you already have it, but check out my post in Dev & Hacking about MusicID. I was able to rip the CAB off of my wife's Samsung Blackjack II and it worked flawlessly on my Samsung i760. Also, judging my the other's comments, it seems to be working great for them. The only downside is it appears a little funky on VGA screens....but QVGA is great, and free..:)
