Opera Mini and local LAN IP addresses

I have a few local webpages I'd like to view with my Qtek 9090, running WM6.1 and Opera Mini 4.1. They are all ip addresses in my local LAN, i.e. 192.168.1.40 (my accesspoint) and 192.168.1.50 (my test webserver).

They work excellent in IE, but Opera doesn't connect! Seems like Opera only searh for external sites, not internal!

Anyone?

Opera uses own proxy server so it cannot reach any local network.

Agreed, I have worked round it by using DynDNS to get my public IP address and then suitable portforwards on the router.
