TouchFlo 2D on ELF

Hey guys,

First time poster long time member..

There is a new touchflo 2D out taken from the upcoming HTC Opal. XDA-Dev team has done it again! It's working smoothly on my Elf.. :cool:

it's great except music tab. it's little bit unresponsive. but i highly reccommend touchflo 2d anyway.

It's still beta version, I've read some people experince it - it's probably caused by EXE modification for compatibility with devices other than Opal.

It looks fantastic and mostly works on my Elf with Blue Elves 5.0. Can't get the weather, maps, browser and Youtube to work. Music works most of the time. Can't add programs to the programs tab, contacts tab works with contacts from the Cube, but leaves extra contacts unfilled, because the available number is larger than what Cube offers.

It runs very smooth on my HTC touch, but I not able to see the text next to icons in the home and settings tab. Also I have no options on the softkey bar, anyone know how to fix?

... Can't add programs to the programs tab, contacts tab works with contacts from the Cube, but leaves extra contacts unfilled, because the available number is larger than what Cube offers.
try disabling the cube (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=368269); then uninstall Tflo2D and reinstall it again, it solved the "contacts adding " and "Apps adding" problems.

nd use the new do it urself by herg :D that solves the youtube

nd the music :D use the new audio manger that been tested on elf :D

This is the greatest thing since sliced bread....well almost anyway..... :)

Works flawlessly on my HTC/Sprint Touch with wm6.1 and the latest STOCK rom.

One MINOR issue....cant find my city in the weather app list. I live in South Florida and the weather changes if you cross the street. Anyone know the registry line or the xml file that allows location entries?

hey guys i noticed that after running smoothly for time touchflo suddenly turns all black and all i can see on the bottom button is "all messages" and "Menu". Did anyone else face this problem. it happened with all the versions with me..:confused:

so here wat i did :D

i flashed my touch with blue elve rom since it got gd memory in it

downloaded the new update !

nd i got it working fine :D

since we elfers got less ram -.- wich sucks

but we can mange fine


u should also try to flash ur touch with the new gullum's rom
that will work fine too :D

I use an oficial rom PTG version and i cannot install any version of manilla 2D in my HTC Touch (Elf). :(

Can someone please explain me that how can i make enough room for this ThouchFlo 2D because i hard reset my Elf and it was about 26MB free but this thing keeps much more than that.. :(

I had to skip some of the files to install the whole thing..
Even i choose storage card as the aim of install it doesn't matter.. (I can understand why, but...)

I really want this 2D so bad, help!!!!

hi guys, work flawlessly on my touch elfin, have no issues with text or graphics. only sometimes, when it need to jump to normal controll panel or someting, it not jump at the first try so I need to repeat that command again. e.g. when I want to open messages or inbox. but anyway, it is nice piece of SW. :)

I had the same problem and i flashed blue elves ROM it covers about 4Mb of space.. and by that you can easily adapt ThouchFlo 2D to your device.. It works great at my Touch.. So glad with it now :D

I have tried to install just the basic files, and the only thing I get is a message saying "Tap here to run TouchFlo", I tap it and the only sentence appearing is "Loading TouchFlo" .....and nothing happen. Somebody could help me? Maybe I'm missing something?:(:(:(

I've installed v0.07 but... WM is slowing down, when connected to PC it almost doesn't respond... after uninstallation I had to hard reset my Elfin, because it was a massacre...

EDIT: Just installed XCPUscalar...seems to be working but I really don't want to pay $20 for it. Any solutions for getting battery status working?

New problem though, my audio manager doesn't seem to work. Music won't play on TF2D and I can't open audio manager from the programs menu. Anyone else have this problem?

I have this problem with Audio Mgr 2. You can uninstall it - original Touch Audio Mgr will work, but you won't be able to use some TF audio add-ons

Just de-activate BattStatus (or Homescreen PlusPlus as it's called now) on the normal Today, and activate on SecondToday. Job done. Hardly eats any memory as well

actually its in the RAM usage. thats why our devices will auto kill TF2D because of low RAM(shared)...

Basically find out the name of the file that is run when you click that brightness button. Create a shortcut of that file and put in Device\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and now add a shortcut in the programs tab of TouchFlo2D. See if it works.

You're talking about Manila? You can uninstall everything except DLL using "Remove Programs", works for me. But WM may still run slowly, then you need hard reset :/

http://rapidshare.com/files/148511224/0.09_M2D_FOLDER.zip.html works well on mine smooth, no lacking.. 17+ are not my favs cuz you'd need to make 2 icon files one to /Windows and another into ManillaGFX.. so dropin the theme into windows alond will mess it up and on top of that you'd need to rework the XML.. But still loving the work well done to make it possible..

And since then I've been making themes here ever since :)

Sorry to be a little noob, I have been searching these forums for a while and cannot find an answer to these 3 questions. Maybe I am searching with the wrong wording. Here is what I am having issues with.

1) I installed manila 2d on my HTC (elf), but I want to remove it, after an uninstall it still comes up with the manila look, but has no sysetm at all running neither the manilla (opal) system or the htc standard elf system. ANy ideas on how to switch back?

2) I installed that popular system configuration utility, itsl like Syns Advance Configuration Utility or something, and it says I need a newer version of dotNet. Where do I get that?

3) I want to change the color of the upper start menu bar and the lower bottom of the screen bar, what app will allow me to do this?

1) Change theme:
Settings -> Today
2) Schap's Advanced Configuration Tool. You can download .NET Framework 3.5 from page called GOOGLE. It will guide you to Microsoft site and download link.
3) Look @ 1). Bars' colors and wallpaper are described in theme. Download another one or find out (Google again) how to make it.

on my elfin i have a little lag in the refreshing of the softkeys when i change tab...

even overcloked to 260, is a normal problema of the elfes? i have manila 2d version 19,last one..

someone know how to solve this? do i have to mount a new rom with manila insert to solve this?
