I really love your keyboard and its the best I've ever seen and used. The only thing is that when I use my regular slide out keyboard on my phone and I hit ALT and then SPACE to change a symbol to "<" it brings up a keyboard option which I really do not like =/ Is this any way to disable that or something? I really use that symbol a lot and I really love your touch screen keyboard. Oh and I use a T-Mobile Wing "Herald"

The keypad that you see above is just for Nike16 phones. On your phone you just need the Nokbd cab.
The error you are experiencing appears when you've not followed the install steps as recommended. Install the cab, the language pack, soft reset, choose the language from the input panel.

What is the ETA on a WVGA version of this keyboard? I currently own an SE X1 and the stock SW keyboard is horrid. The blackstone and raphael keyboards can be installed on it, but cause several annoying issues with the HW keyboard.

Would love to see where this goes and if it's the keyboard I'm looking for, I'll be sure to donate!

Description of the issue: Turkish keys and characters are not on the main keyboard layout. It is really hard to write a message in Turkish going back and forth (ABC/123) and scrolling up and down the 9 pages of symbols (most of them I would never use) to find a Turkish character. It would be better if I could press and hold O to get an Ö and so on....

The turkish layout has been completely created from scratch. Only the T9 dictionary existed. Since the standard Turkish keyboard is the QWERTY one, that's what you get. But you don't get any special accented characters for multitap on the other two layouts, because I've not customized the mapping files. This has never been requested, and requires time which I don't have, for now.

When using CpKbd and NoKbd in Landscape mode, a totally different keyboard is displayed (Black HTC Touch keyboard). The last row of keys overlap with the softkeys.

In Landscape mode, you should get just the Full Qwerty. You see the other two (in black) because you didn't uninstall the previous EzInput 1.0 keyboard.
Since it's probably cooked into your rom, you should choose a different rom or make an hard reset, clean the registry and then install one of the cabs you can find on this thread.

No problems for me (I'm used to safe-mode boot). I uninstalled because can't have the choice to use Catalan. (Catalan is included in every Spanish MS-Office, and Catalan localization is available to Spanish Windows UI's since W2K release. Now every catalan word is corrected (or suggested) to spanish. Tegic made the catalan T9 files and gave them to HTC. HTC say it's a licensing problem with MS. MS-Redmond say I must ask a WM6.0 patch to MS-Spain. I stopped there, uninstalled and began to use my full hardware keyboard better.

Catalan is going to be a supported language in the next version of the Suite.

And, instead of complaining, you should ask yourself one thing: I've put countless hours on this project, tweaking, patching, disassembling and testing. More than twenty two thousand downloads, and just five donations.
You are getting all for free, not even for the cost of a cup of coffee, and you even dare to complain.

But who should really complain ? Who has any right to complain ?

If only a higher percentage of the users who have downloaded would care to stay here and help the newcomers, all would be better. But still, people doesn't want to read the instructions, and complain, as if this was just a shop.

If it was only for those who have asked for a special feature and promised a donation that has never come, all would have ended months ago.

That would really be awesome... By the way, after getting to a RTM point, one can release his/her work. Only the price point must be a good one. I love the Apple AppStore approach on that. You can find lots of 3rd party apps that you'll like, just for 0.99$... But, I might refrain from paying 10-20$ for any app (that I don't use to make more money :P)...

Just a suggestion, don't know about legal issues, if any.

The keyboard ist working great. But then, i uninstalled the cabs. After them, all HTC Application have a wrong language or font. I don't know. I don't see letters. Only squers or lines. I have reinstalled the keyboard and the language files with reboots etc. but this doesn't help. I can't read any text in htc applications. ( e.g. in Action Screen are only quadrates )
Any Ideas?

Edit: It's not only in HTC Applications. I have now problems with the Mobilepocket Reader tool. I can't read the Index of the Offline Wikipedia. In the Index are only squares. I changed the font type in Mobipocket but the same Error?!?

Conflicting apps, of course. And the fact that you're using a rom which includes the keyboard extracted from the Opal Rom, which is not fully compatible with your device. Add that the cooker doesn't even answer to my PMs et... Voilà !!

All you can try to do, since you'll probably prefer to stick with that rom, is to remove some apps and, in the worst case, delete the pre-existing keyboard files, install a registry editor and wipe out completely the HKLM/Software/HTC/EzSip and HKLM/Software/Tegic keys.

I use S2U2 and sometimes when I gonna do the slide to unlock using the DPAD something weird happens. I see T9 showing with 1 letter and can't unlock. Try to use my finger to unlock and only after 2 ou 3 finger slides that I unlock it.

Anyone have this problem?

I don't have any problems with EzInput, have been using it for quite some time now and it is very, very good - however I do have a question.
Is it possible to see other suggested words? I remember with my original WM ROM Keypad from about a year ago, it would have < and > arrows so I could scroll through suggested T9 words. I've searched and searched through settings/config, and through this post - but I can't find anything. Is it possible to see anything after the first 3 suggested words?

I face the same problem!
In my Polaris, when I use the Touch Keypad, after tapping a suggested word it automatically adds a space after it.
With EzInput, the word is entered without the space.

And yes, I've the "add a space after word" option cheked!

Is there any solution for this?

Does anyone know how to enable T9 when using the hardware keyboard? I've noticed this on some other roms that when typing with the hardware keyboard, it will suggust words but along a straight line neatly on the bottom of the screen.

I downloaded and isntalled the EZInput Full keyboard but for some reason it will not get off the Compact keyboard on my phone. I even set it in input options. ideas? Jukebox mine did the same thing so I tried again and installed full keyboard first and cancelled reset, then installed english cab and then soft reset.
was not able to get full keyboard under start\settings\input. It kept on reverting to compact. So I opened notepad then opened keyboard and used the keyboard pop up menu to change to full keyboard and all is working fine.

I really like these keyboards. It's the first version I've tried which has Xt9 working on full qwerty. On earlier versions if you switched on Xt9 with full qwerty it would give different letters to the ones you typed whereas this version works fine.
One thing that doesn't seem to work properly is error correction on full qwerty. For example if I type 'freat' it gives no suggestions whereas if I do the same with the hardware keyboard it has several suggestions with 'great' selected by default. Compact qwerty works really well too with error correction too but with full qwerty mistyped keys are hardly ever corrected. Does anyone else have this problem and can it be fixed? I have a WWE Tytn II with Manila 2d installed.

Has anyone else found that the XT9 on Full Qwerty doesn't work the same as that on say the standard Windows Mobile keyboard (or Tytn II hardware keyboard)? With full qwerty error correction on XT9 seems to pick up dropped vowels eg hllo will suggest hello but 'goibg' (ie hitting the keys next the ones you want) does not suggest 'going'. Using the standard keyboard it does suggest this. So it seems that more suggestions are returned on other keyboards than full qwerty. Is there any way of making full qwerty use the same XT9 behaviour to other keyboards?
Also I notice that even if you have the make suggestions on ABC mode checked, there are no suggestions on full qwerty when ABC mode is selected.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to use full qwerty but it's much needed error correction is very poor.

Thanks for this nice keyboard package! Especial thanx for the Hungarian language! :)
But... Is it possible editing the Keyboard layout? I think the Hungarian layout look like rather as a German layout. Ex. in the Hungarian language it isn't 'ä'-character, but 'á'.
Maybe I can send to you the hungarian layout for a non-keyboard version language pack. Or if you haven't got time for this, I can make it. But please say me with what kind of program can I modifying that.

Hello BJK, Great work you have done here. I really appreciate your effort.

I am just wondering is there any way that we can edit the T9 words? For example, for myself, I am using both English languange and Malay languange and Medical vocabs which all contain different vocabulary.

Therefore, I have to add a lot of words when I'm typing using the Keypad since all the vocab is different from English vocab. It is really a pain in the ass to have type back and forth using T9 and ABC and to have to add every word by word. Even sometime, I use a shortform of English vocab which is also different for the English language pack.

Therefore is there anyway I could edit, add or delete the words contained in the predictive list of T9 words which definitely will make a lot of our life easier.

I noticed this function is available in SIPs that come with Omnia but I find the SIPs layout of Omnia is not too user friendly compared to HTC layout.

I found this freeware program call DictMgr which allow us to edit, add, delete, import and export all the T9 words but this program somehow can only be used with the actual HTC hardware that are produced by HTC. I presume this program can be slightly tweaked so that it will be compatible with EzInput.

Downloaded this, after trying the usual contenders, freebies and trial virtual keyboards for my HTC TYTNII. I can't really fault this keyboard, undoubtedly the best and with XT9 dictionary, so you can add your own additional words in the dictionary, in two ways, either ABC mode, when typing s txts/notes (takes a bit of undertsanding) or under XT9 in settings menu and add them there.

Just note that you need to download the RC2 with an RC1 language pack to make it work or you may get a blank keyboard.

Only one word (well..abreviated) that I found it struggles with (in english) and that's tyring to get 'I'm' to show in XT9 mode. It adds 'I've' ok and XT9 dislays it as predictive text, but 'I'm' it just gives a capita 'I' and then 'm' as an option and no appostrophe (even when added manually to the XT9 dictionary). This is only a minor thing as every other word added to the dictionary works perfectly.

Well written and really, for me, is the best out there.

I've found a VGA Chinese QWERTY Keyboard cab ported from Chinese Diamond. I've installed it, it works on my English touch pro, except Compact QWERTY and Phone Keyboard will not work.

If you are installing it into a English Diamond/TouchPro, you'll need to extract the content of the cab, copy all the files into Windows directory, then run the cab again, else you will run into insuffient previlege.

Now, I hope someone can port this one into EzInput suites or make a language pack out of it.

It works but i also want Compact QWERTY and Phone Keyboard to work too.

NOTE: You may need to install Chinese System such as CE-Star, Kuma Chinese in order to see chinese characters.

I found that if you select the full keyboard it displays the keyboard but it doesn't respond to key taps. So what worked for me was to leave the full keyboard selected and restart the phone. Then the full keyboard works fine except for me the XT9 is vastly inferior to that for the other keyboard options. It's error correction is almost non-existent. Whereas the error correction on the compact is brilliant. I have had the number issue on other versions of this keyboard but on my Kaiser (running Ultimate PDA v17 ROM) it works fine. I just wish I could get the error correction working on full keyboard then I'd use it instead of compact. With full having small keys you really need intelligent error correction so it gets a bit tedious having to keep back spacing all the time. That and the problem that if you restart you phone with the compact currently selected then you can't reopen the full without having to do another restart as I've just described.

Finally I got it working too.
I set right language from option menu. Then I selected full keyboard option and then reset the device.
At boot I selected compact keyboard and wrote some char from hardware keyboard.. then magically compact keyboard started working.
I made the same with full keyboard.
Now all works good.

... however I had to remove ezinput keyboard because my hardware keyboard and in particular the "Fn" key couldn't work more even if I disable compact,full or dialpad keyboard from touch screen.

i write really fast and i need to wait that every word will write letter for letter...
I like using hardware keyboard without any xt9 and old Phone Pad of HTC (maybe 1.0), the one with blue orange or green keys, that is a bit big (on screen) and fast for t9 ;)

ok, I love this app, I use it on my Samsung sch-i760 and I use it for T9 cause this phone doesn't have T9. There is a beef that I have though.

Every time I pop open the qwertykeyboard and I try to press the "period" (.) button, it brings up the word complete screen for (.) and it won't let me use the period. The EzInput main cabs enable T9 as default input method.
If you need to change this behaviour, you can install one of the cabs below:

Hi all, the ezinput is great, but I realised has one bug on my MWG Atom V. When I switch to the original letter completion input, I don't get the usual word completion. This returns when I un-install ezinput, so I guess ezinput suppresses the original word completion.

Does anyone know how to install ezinput and patch this word completion issue?

I'm assuming you are missing the word completion on the other keyboard types. There is a register setting in HKLM\Software\Tegic\eT9\XT9SupportMSSip and if you set it to 1 it will give you the XT9 word completion on all other keyboards (not just the EZ Input ones). If you want to revert to the other type of word completion (ie the standard MS one) then install Schapps advanced settings app and there is a word completion option in that to set it back to the standard.

A beer for anyone who can fix XT9 on Full Qwerty so it works the same way as on other keyboards. On Full Qwerty XT9 corrects for missed letters (and a few other things like hte instead of the) so if you type Wnter it will give you Winter. However if I accidentally hit the o key instead of the i and type Wonter it won't give you any suggestions so you have to hit lots of backspaces and correct. If I do the same test on say the inbuilt MS keyboard or on my Kaiser's hardware keyboard it will suggest Winter (and other words besides) in both cases.
It may seem like I'm being picky but I really like the full qwerty keyboard but get frustrated that if I try to type quickly and hit a wrong key I have to keep hitting the backspace key. With the small key size it is essential to have proper correction. With Compact Qwerty missed keys are rarely a problem but the annoying thing there is when a word isn't in the dictionary and you have to switch to ABC mode and start again. I've looked at the registry settings and can't see anything obvious. It seems totally illogical that the XT9 functionality should behave differently between the inbuilt MS keyboard and Full Qwerty. The main difference is the look and feel of the keys and I would have thought that somewhere in the XT9 dll is a black box where you send a function the keys pressed so far and it returns a list of word possibilities. Clearly with Compact Qwerty and Phone Keybad it has to work in a different way since each key shares more than one letter but for any of the qwerty options (ie Full Qwerty, MS soft keyboard, hardware keyboard) its wierd that they don't all behave the same.

So a challenge for for someone cleverer than I for a rainy day.

I have the same problem - in windows 6.5 it will not work at all. After install nothing happends. I have tried it in 6.1 - and there it works perfectly. But we really need a cab file (or some reg edits) to make it work on 6.5.

NOTE: The main cabs don't include any language. Even if they will let the full list appear in the settings listbox, you'll have to manually add the languages you need to use.

Due to the peculiarity of the CAB install technology and the way with which HTC has conceived the Language List configuration in the Registry (a single string for all available languages, which can't be parsed by the WM CAB engine), the full list needs to be created before you'll install even a single Language Pack.
After that, to remove all unneeded languages from the list, a simple edit of the registry will suffice.

I just installed WM6.5 on my Touch Diamond and I wished to get back the keyboard I used (phone keypad). So I downloaded and installed the cab with the french language pack, and almost everything work fine... In English, it's perfect but I'd prefer french T9. Unfortunately, the french pack works fine for everything except the phone keypad, the only one I use... When I enable French, I can type texts but only blindly because of a really tiny keypad and crazy colors all around... :(

I installed the the EZ-Input Suite on my Tytn2 with german language pack and FN-Key-Cab.
But now, when i select "German" in T9 and want to use the Phone Keypad (my Fav. SIP in portrait mode) it does not load - the only thing that is to see is a scrambled picture in the area where the pad should appear. I already reinstalled all components which are listed above but it has not been fixed. any idea for help?

First of all: thanks for your work! It is gorgeous!

I have issues too on my HTC Touch Dual (16 keys) with the latest original WWE HTC ROM (asian version). I really liked this project but now I must admit that I need to wait for a while until these issues will be fixed.
Also, I'll wait for the Keyboard version of the Romanian Language Pack. In my country there are many people that use this device (with 16 keys) from Orange (the largest carrier here). I even don't know if the 20 keys device were ever sold in Romania.

The issues:
1. when I want to use the full keyboard it doesnt shows up (only an empty or disturbed space).
2. when I want to use my hardware keyboard, I can type just numbers.

(p.s. I dont have any third part software keyboard and these issues last even after an instalation on a hard reseted device.)

But... Is it possible editing the Keyboard layout? I think the Hungarian layout look like rather as a German layout. Ex. in the Hungarian language it isn't 'ä'-character, but 'á'.
Maybe I can send to you the hungarian layout for a non-keyboard version language pack. Or if you haven't got time for this, I can make it. But please say me with what kind of program can I modifying that.

I second this. While I thank the developer for this great job, I have to note, that after installing the Hungarian keyboard cab, I got the GERMAN keyboard layout when selecting Hungarian language for Full qwerty (though T9 uses the Hungarian dictionary).

I have an HTC Cruise 2 (09), used the qvga non-keyboard version.
I followed your advice on installation, did all the necessary soft resets. dont know what went wrong...

If someone have the same problem with the german layout i have in the attachment the images with the right keyboard size....just copy the files in the windows folder.

Just to point out a small detail, the space is not added (at least in spanish) after the word is selected from the suggestions, even though the "add space" checkbox is selected in the options.

Sorry, I installed the t9 as default .cab. This works in portrait, but as when I switch to landscape the default stays abc. Any way to fix this?

Uninstall all other KBD, that you have instaled (I mean all from BJK-((FullKBD,FN+SPACE update etc)) and other) and instal PocketCM keyboard and voala.....after restart ....it`s O.K.
"example key "e" and "FN+SPACE" = é"...
Of course the SYM.0409.txt must be in the \\windows\ ...i thing.
So...try it :)

Ať jsem zkoušel cokoliv, nepomáhalo. Nakonec jsem všechny testované klávesničky a nadstavby odinstaloval (myšleno vše od BJK-((FullKBD,FN+SPACE update atd))) a nainstaloval obyčejnou POCKETCM keyboard!
Po restartu zase fungovala FN+space jako vždy! Samozřejmě je asi třeba mít v adresáři "zařízení"/windows ten upravený starý soubor SYM.0409.TXT tak jako u předchozích ROMek, aby to psalo ty správné CZ znaky bez nutnosti přeskakovat přehlasovaná e atd.
Takže: vyřešeno :)

When I press Alt then Sym to bring up the Symbol Pad for quick entry of symbols from the hardware keyboard, the character Ë or ë gets entered into my text, and I have to erase it after entering the symbol. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

There's only one little problem, the t9/Xt9 DOESN'T LEARN new words.

That is, when you press "+" and manually insert any new word (e.g. writing an sms) the next time you won't find the word you manually entered.

This is strange. Did i made something wrong ? Is there an option to enable ?

Is this normal ?

I normally use Resco Keyboard Pro. However I recently upgraded my build of Windows Mobile to 23034 and Resco Keyboard Pro doesn't work with it. In fact it messes up the the whole operating system.

So I reinstalled the Wm 6.5 23034 ROM from scratch (without installing ANY other keyboard) and somebody suggested that I should use EzInput.

Installation on my Kaiser went OK. I also installed the language packs for English and Spanish.

Keyboard works OK, but I have a problem. I can't change the keyboard type. In portrait mode I always get the "Compact Qwerty" and in landscape mode I always get the "Full Keyboard".

I have carefully read the instructions and installed the language packs, selected the language in Settings/Input Method, selected the keyboard type (for example Full Qwerty in portrait mode), and as soon as I exit the keyboard type selection box (after pressing OK obviously), the keyboard goes back to the Compact Qwerty.

Many Kaiser / Tilt users have reported the same, but they always keep on being told that the reason is that they did not install the language. I did. Both English and Spanish and I have selected them (tried with both). It still doesn't work.

Enclosed are screen shots showing that the language packs ARE installed, and also showing that I have selected the language.

Since the program doesn't want to retain my keyboard layout choice made through the interface (defaults to compact QWERTY on portrait and Full QWERTY on landscape), I wonder if somebody knows whether there is a registry entry that I can manually change to make the default for portrait also Full QWERTY.

Hope to get a reply. My system configuration is the one shown in my signature.

Just a quick question: i have installed the language pack + custom registry hack to make it work with the default keyboard on my HTC Touch3G (latest ROM from the HTC webpage). As expected, T9 works just fine, but i don't get any special characters - like "ă, ş, ţ â" etc. - on the keyboard itself. If i install the EzInput version posted in this thread, will there be any diacritics on it?

been your great fan since my previous device (corona QVGA / LG KS20), i'm using this SIP as default and love it
recently i have upgraded my device to topaz WVGA, but seems like the built in ezinput 2.0 doesn't have Compact QWERTY keyboard anymore, which is always been my primary SIP. and i can not use other cabs (ezinput 2.0 / 2.1) due the ROM issue. the only way i could get Compact QWERTY again is by using ezinput 1.5 VGA version (as because there's no WVGA cab released by now), but it leads to incorrect layout for full QWERTY landscape, it just fill 3/4 sceen width

so if u please so kind to release 1.5 WVGA version ? i know it has been exclusively released for laurentius' HD ROM .. but i think there's many ppl here also been waiting for WVGA version

in a few minutes I will install above ROM onto my Diamond.
Last ROM I installed had the matter that there was no way to have a keyboard like the one here enclosed.
So i searched for a solution and -it seems- EZINPUT will be the one.

3 questions (i tried to understand reading about 114 pages of this 3d with no results):

1) does it works onto Diamond and WinMo 6.5
2) is it possible to have the KD like the jpg file enclosed
3) which files have I to download for havine the italian (and maybe the german and english) T9

I noticed this function is available in SIPs that come with Omnia but I find the SIPs layout of Omnia is not too user friendly compared to HTC layout.

Instructions:

Uninstall of all the previously installed third party keyboards and SIP changers is recommended.


Choose your hardware configuration and download the main application (the blue hyperlinks).
Choose the Language Packs from post #3.
Uninstall any previous beta, if installed.
Make a soft reset.
If you are using a Rom with EzInput 1.5 already included, you must terminate the "SipGT_app" process first, or you won't be able to install.
Install the Main cab you've chosen. After the install it won't be necessary to reset your phone.
Install all the Language Packs you've chosen.
Make a soft reset.
Go to Settings -> Input -> Options and choose your Language from the list. Only the languages for which you have installed a Language Pack will give you a working keyboard.
NOTE: The main cabs don't include any language. Even if they will let the full list appear in the settings listbox, you'll have to manually add the languages you need to use.

Due to the peculiarity of the CAB install technology and the way with which HTC has conceived the Language List configuration in the Registry (a single string for all available languages, which can't be parsed by the WM CAB engine), the full list needs to be created before you'll install even a single Language Pack.
After that, to remove all unneeded languages from the list, a simple edit of the registry will suffice.

I'm using the WM 6.1 21054 v0.9a Manila Edition from sergiorus.
I have tried to install EzInput the way you described. The norwegian letters works brillint until I reboot. Then my device doesn't come back up again. I have also removed the startup of SipGT_app in registry, but this doesn't seem to be enough. Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?

Hey Dupin awesome work with the keyboard!

I am having one single issue though. I use the 'phone keypad' form of entry and it works in virtually ALL text fields except for Opera Mobile. When I try to enter an address OR google search, it will only enter numbers.

I have installed the QVGA version with no hw keys (I run the Touch Cruise/Polaris) as well as the English language pack.

Like I said it works well with every other program except Opera Mobile. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

PS- I also found an "EZInput V2" floating around on the web and that did not work in Opera either.

will there be a WVGA version of this keyboard with Romanian language? I think it is the only thing missing to transform my Touch HD into a perfect device. I tried to install a qvga version (the only version with romanian language support) and it is unusable due to the layout.

Hi all,
I've successfully installed EzInput 1.5 on my Raphael: having a full hardware one I only use phone keypad as software keyboard, and here we have the only EzInput that fully supports keypad.

I only have an issue: even if I set "Phone Keypad" as default "Input method" from settings/personal/input, everytime I turn off and on my device it reverts back to "Full QWERTY".
That's really annoying.

Any hint (eg regedit) to keep default SIP to keypad?

Hello everyone!

Found this and it's nice as EzInput is not included in my fav rom: Rubenalf's 6.5 build 23504 eng light (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=580288) and after a hard reset the cab's installs fine, the main and the swedish one. But after selecting language in input options there is no way for me to get the swedish characters å, ä and ö.
Remember that I've read somewhere about somthing in the registry, but does that work for this?

Anyhow, any help is appreciated!

I test EzInput 1.5 QVGA, Czech + English, on HP iPAQ DataMessenger. It works pretty well.
I admire T9 support with SMS, notes etc. and quick search in contact. It is not standard with any FW keyboard.

You'll have to do a hard reset in order to remove EZinput...

its a real nice keyboard but personally anything that forces me to use it and nothing else is just not for me..

If one removes the T9 prediction, in my case I turn it off and change to full qwerty (accuracy and not speed are the important when web browsing with addresses and password inputs) then the text input works a charm. I'm not sure where I read this, but I thought I should put the solution here.

I purchased a chinese cell phone from the company Chinavasion and got this keypad to work with the Dutch T9. I used the QVGA version on it.

I have Windows Mobile 6.1

Just so you guys know, i really appreciate the work you'r doing. Keep it up.

I had to restart my smartphone and then switch to Dutch language in the settings. After switching to Dutch the keypad wouldn't work.
In order to resolve this issue i simply had to switch back and forth between Full Qwerty or Half Qwerty and touchpad again to get it to work.

It's now working absolutely nicely, like before on my old Nokia 3110. So i'm very happy to have my word prediction back on my cell and some keys i can press with my fingers instead of the stylus.

I searched a lot, but could not find my issue: I use the EzInput 1.5 keyboard in dutch.
In full qwerty layout, after pressing the .123 I get only 8 pages. There should be 9, with the numbers on the first page. This first page is missing, so typing numbers is not as easy as it should be. How can this be fixed? (Running on artemis custom 6.5 rom (shady28005 R2 OME)

So if I type tesw [backspace to remove w] then type t - I actually get teswt as the letter highlight seems to linger too long. using the onscreen input to mistype and then backspace to correct doesn't seem to be a problem.

Is there a way to reduce that character highlight and therefore allow the correction to work? If I text slower and allow the character highlight to go away then it is fine - just seems to be a timing thing.

Anyway if someone can help with a regkey or something that will help, that would be great.

I have found a solution that works on my Xperia X1 without messing up the hardware keyboard. I installed the no-hardware-keyboard-version of EZInput since I don't really need T9 when I'm typing on the hardware keyboard. Now everything works flawlessly.

As I wrote on the title,
QVGA version of EzInput works perfectly on my Polaris having 3lit3 VIII Rom.
Also patch for ABC default if perfect.

I have ported latest Ezinput/t9/ime from Mini to 320x320 screen, including working hardwarekeys /deadkeys. thx to you!
Seem IME working with any application running on pda. But the next problem appears- "phonex iconsoft 2.2" doesnt listen for hardware number keys in amy appliaction of it in case IME is loaded, it can listen to T9( by writing numbers in t9 field) but doestnt give keys to application.
How can I add application to T9 IME backlist or fix it somehow?

Hello, i try to install this on a HTC p3300 the program appear on the sms menu but the keys dont work when i press them. Only the original keyboard works. Any solution?

i used this keyboard on my dopod 818 and it shows the keyboard... but when i tap it can only enter the symbols and when i use the full qwerty keyboard... the place where the keyboard is supposed to be is just blank...

can anyone help... cuz i really love this keyboard

I have downloaded ezimput 2.2 for HTC Diamond and my phone got stuck in boot screen. I had to hard reset the device and then took me a whole day to bring the device to where it was before, re-install all my applications.
Do not make the same mistake I did.

I have one problem...In sms while typing the name to the sender i.e. in "To" section, keyboard doesnt take T9 dictonary..its only ABC which is there...I have habbit of using T9 while selecting or typing name of the sender in SMS...please fix this issue also.
