Well, than you are lucky. The only reason why I decided to try your rom (i used exploude's 273) was that in your rom Office is absent.I use other soft and I do not need huge Office in ROM. P.S. there's no dialer in landscape mode in the pdaviet rom

If you want to fix it, try resetting a couple of times, but you have to tap the screen immediately, especially on the "align screen". I did a couple of soft resets and it finally worked when i pressed the screen as soon as it loaded.

I noticed that the WIFI is not working. It says its connecting and then disconnects. Its not finding any wifi. Do you have a fix for this ?

It's a common problem!! but you do get Persistent storage with WM6+ rom's
wifi is a troublesome thing with WM6 + ROMS and BA devices hope this helps, 2003 roms works much better with wifi than WM6x.x roms but it will work

Hi there It sounds like you didnt do a hard reset after flashing rom, Windows live is a problem with some other roms too! I only use the hotmail so had not spotted the live search not working. Sorry, Try a hard reset hope this helps

but anyway will give it a try and reinstall Live to see what happens. indeed i couldnt even uninstall Live..

what im really trying to do is to get the windows live search box (or any search box for that matter) onto my Today screen and be able to search straight from there (with a google search tweak). so you see the 2 problems I've run into completely prohibits me from doing just that lol

im no developer myself but from a windows user pov, i can only guess...default browser or related registry issue?

as for the numlock issue, i THINK ive a workaround for now...
somehow it's related to the phone app taking and changing the input.
when i type on the Today screen, characters are put into Contacts search, and characters where the numbers are, appear as numbers because of the engaged numlock.
if i launch the phone app from there, the number(s) i typed would appear in the dialer.
Now for some reason, closing the dialer would disengage the numlock altogether

:D

ps, i use SIMcard lock. when the device is rebooted, the phone app would ask me for my password, and it would appear that the numlock is automatically engaged for my password input. This is a 'necessary' feature, i guess, because this rom is different as it does not show the dialer at this point, forcing entry only via the keyboard, hence the need to engage numlock.
sorry am just guessing but it seems to be related.

A higher number may not mean the rom is later?, It all depends which operator and in which country and some times the device the rom was built for as for the apps well i like to add some If we all cooked basic ROMs it would be boring Enjoy

Hi there it sounds like you need to put your device in boot loader (press and hold power and record buttons and reset hold for 5 seconds untill ) serial is displayed place in creadle then run upgrade

I checked out that nk.nbf modified date is October 11, 2008. is it the last nk.nbf or there is another one latest and fixed already?
And also how to change the HTC Manila 2D clock image?
I've search many thread, download the file and copy it to windows dir on BA but nothings change and become failing to load touchflo.

Must be a proble with your headset software as mine is working fine I Don't know what you mean by "drop down" If you want all the apps in the screen shots then you want this rom http://www.4shared.com/file/63407830/8505e9bb/BA_CE_OS_5220275__Build_20275133_.html and this extrom http://www.4shared.com/file/66005982/ea9d9e51/ExtROM_BA5220275.html It's customized for "MY ROMs" If you load the extrom correctly then the screen shot will be CORRECT and that's how your device will look all setup with a 5 sided "cube" ready to use

I am trying all Swampy's ROM right now...just to be honest, I like sun_dream's ROM especially the v3.02 with 16mb ramdisk the only problem is that when I installed HTC opal commManager, HTC dialer skin, htc wait cursor and htc calculator skin, this apps is having conflicts w/ sun_dream's ROM...more on the battery indicator, sometimes it indicates it's charging even though it is not and most of the time the battery indicator is always full even though it is not, but if I won't install this apps, everything works great..but I want the skins of this HTC apps....I have already tried Swampy's BA_CE_OS_5.2.20275(Build_20275.1.3.3) w/o WM office but I have not tested everything yet...but I have a feeling this would be a nice ROM...let's find out..thanks man

Opal Comms is cooked into my basic and M2D roms I also cooked in blue spin wait curser and globe on start menu The basic rom has very little in it henc BASIC the none basic rom is packed full of extras, most of the stuff removed from basic rom is in ExtROM enjoy

I love your ROM swampy....I am using it now...the basic one. I don't know if this request will be granted, can you cooked a specialized ROM for me? hehe, sorry if it is to much to ask. Just some little changes with your ROM so I will not customized it every time I do a hard reset. Like under start>settings>system>about>device ID>...I have noticed HTC BlueAngel is the default for device name and description and etc. And some changes. But all in all your ROM works great!

i have the exact same problem with 'stuck' icons on the newest basic rom...
but instead of battery, it is with the wireless connections (wifi, gprs, activesync)

ive not installed any of the mentioned apps..

by the way i have had the same issue with the batt icon too in the past. but by showing Time instead of Batt (through Schaps), all battery indicators went back to normal.
I didnt try to identidy which app i installed was causing the problem though..

i had the problem when i used the non basic ROM about a month ago. but ive not checked in your newly flashed basic ROM as I immediately switched it to display Time on the task bar.....

I did all that hard reset puting it into bootloader after is has upgraded now i see that loading screen, and now i idid it again hard reset and bootloader but again there are error150 with makeupgradenoid and error101 with baupgrade

sorry if this may be irrelevant but it might have something to do with the rom or maybe someone reading here might know than those reading the Blue Angel General thread...

i know the on/off key does not allow this but..is it possible to switch off the phone rather than just suspend?
or perhaps stop it from booting up once it has power from the charger/usb cable?

i suspect that the current is insufficient to charge this big battery (for the first time) when the phone is also ON or in suspend mode.. im trying everything i can to charge this and nothing is working. it's a second one sent from the shop so it's not likely to be faulty..

what happens is..the indicator is red when usb cable is plugged in and there is no battery. then, once the battery is plugged in, the indicator changes to off (no light).

not sure if this means anything but...when the phone is plugged into pc with extended batt, usb port power reads 2mA. im guessing it'd need at least 500mA or something to be charging?

Hi there I don't have a large capacity battery so I can't check! for you,
But here goe's
1 check the date of my nk.nbf in upgrade folder if it's not 30/10/2008 or later then download it again I fixed batt status, any older than that! Yes it could be rom?
2 only way to turn off phone is in commManager ie:Airplane mode
3 have you tryed flashing some other rom say like explode?
4 do you have activesync 4.5 or above?
5 was it ok with standard battery?
try these and let me know

Have tryed charging the batt in the slot of the cradel? I got one for my himalaya and It recomended a long charge in the cradel first,

Swampy, I'm very concerned about this. My phone is a Siemens SX66(PH20B1). After errasing some files on my phone, and soft resetting, I ended stuck in boot loader. I tried flashing explode's WM6.1 Pro TESTs 20931 but still wouldn't come out of bootloader.Reading around the threads and wiki I found the MTTY solution to format and reset phone. I did so, and phone booted into explode's rom. Playing around I noticed that now I had Cam and Video drivers... SoOoOoo... I couldn't resist to try it, LOL and >>Yeah, there is no hidden cam behind the cover :D(I read a thread about that). However, when I to go Device Info, now my phone says "PH20B" Whew.. anyone's dream huh? But.. aja, don't forget there is no cam! Well, then I tried Sun_Dream's rom, and thought maybe that I would see PH20B1 again... but... NOPE, it still reads the same. Now I'm about to try your ROM to see if some issues I'm having will go away(from what I've read, I think they will), but your note above stopped me.

So, making it short, questions:
1. Will this ROM work with PH20B1?
2. Will it install Cam/Video Drivers?(don't need/don't want them)
3. Will it correct or how can I correct the Device info to properly read PH20B1?

camers and video drivers are standard for PH20B device's, The drivers should not cause any problems with your device?:rolleyes: but if you know whitch files to remove and would like to have a go then down load my "kitchen" the link is in this thread or in my M2D Thread:) Just follow the on screen instructions "IN EACH WINDOW" that means dos windows too, search the dump folder and remove the unwanted files "Don't use step (6) it's for ramdisk only" step's 2,3,4,have to be done just open click save and close Read the read_me First.txt but in short do steps 2,3,4, remove unwanted files then 5,7, don't worry about editing the reg. if no errors were seen then flash to phone Tip Search this site for OEM_Camera for BA or Himalaya will be much the same this will give you some idear of the files that make the driver set Good luck you can PM me for help

P.S. I'm assuming your device worked with explode ROM but you don't have a camera??
The only way to restore your device would be to flash a operator ship rom WM2003 may still be available from original operators web site?

but i think i didnt go back to wm2003 again jejeje is bored. so when I try to start the MARUU noID it didnt shows info about your ROM and obviously dont upgrade nothing!

Sorry i can't help you with that! the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe is the only upgrade utility i know that works with BA boot loader on PH20B is something like 2.03?, Have you flashed other rom from BA site that work if so try useing that upgrade utility with my nk.nbf, but PH26B I'm not sure this is compatable

I don't know what you mean by "MARUU_noID" If you mean "MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe", What I see from your picture is that you ran it on bootloader. MaUpgradeUt_noID is used w/o going into bootloader. Just Active sync and run it. Otherwise you'll get that window w/o info. BaUpgradeUt_noID.exe requires tu run on Bootloader. This is based on my most recent experience, where I had to flash over and over trying to get my radio to go. If I'm wrong, then please excuse me. I'm newbie with BlueAngels.

Hi IF your PH26B is compatable and i'm sorry but i don't think it is!, then you have to put it in boot loader and flash useing MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe from the folder with the rest of the files in my folder, Press power button Record button and soft reset and hold for about 10 seconds release soft reset when USB serial is displayed on screen connect to pc and let async connect run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe, If it wont flash with this tool then it's NOT compatable, Please remember it's your device or a brick if you get it wrong:( if your haveing this much trouble trying to flash a rom I recomend you STOP!!!

just select contacts one by one "by" tapping "To" button on the txt screen before sending, There are some app to do this, I don't use them and don't know there names something like Group SMS hope this helps

Thank you for your kind feedback. I think you missunderstood my query, I need to do multiple selection of inbox or sent box SMS list for deletion. Currently I have to select each SMS separately to delet but this is time consuming. There must be away to do multiple selection eitehr by altering some registery input or some other patch files.
