I am a bit frustrated so I have to ask this question to you guys what is the difference between the two phones?HTC touch dual or NEON I read that neon has a wifi and touch dual has none but when you surf in the net and type HTC neon usually htc touch dual will appear?:( so that is frustrating for me are they the same? read it is not ... can someone here please try to answer this query? please for me/ us specially for those who are new here in the forum to be enlighten

From what country are you?

Neon is for US or GSM 800 Networks
Niki is for Europa or GSM 900 Networks

The keyboards are different too. The primary US TouchDual aka NEON 300 has the 20 key compact qwerty. The whole wifi thing is research, and has not been hacked as of yet. The phones are different enough that you should not flash a ROM from one to the other, but beyond that, they look somewhat similar. Not to mention, both phones are stuck in ONE THREAD!!! Which sucks, considering the Vogue and the Elf have seperate threads.....

Take out the battery and look on back. Should tell you. At least my neon does.

I agree 100% about having a SEPARATE THREAD for NEON and the Nike. It is too much different to be together and it is very confusing.

I know this is a old thread but it will be ask more and more because the NEON is coming fast and new.

I have a brand new Touch Dual NEON400 with a 526 MHz Diamond MSM7501A processor. This is a mix between a Touch Vogue and a Diamond. So it has nothing to do with Nike and the NEON has no SIM like the Nike.

So far I'm more confused then anything here and I do not dare change anything in case I blow out my cellular phone

I know i have a dual neon400 and cant find anything for it i need an original English rom:)

i have a touch dual neon200 and i only can hardspl the device i cant find where i can unlock my device..all threads and servers works with niki100 not neon200..i have my device for paperweight:mad::mad:

i even try with servers like tornado or imei check ..nothing i only get hardspl of the great member of olipro who gave us hardspl i bet he can unlock it..so if u read tihs msge pleasee help me!!
