so i have the 8525 and PDAVIETs v22. i need to get shaps config tool on my phone but i am clueless as what to do. ive downloaded it and i opened it up in WinAce, but now i am just dumb...

What's WinAce? you downloaded the CAB file? transfer the cab file to your phone's storage card, and click on it to install??

apparently you downloaded the zip file. well, download the *.cab file or extract the *.zip file you already downloaded and transfer it to your device and then click on it... finished :eek:
man, you managed to install a new ROM on your device, but you don't know how to instal an application :confused:
