Hello,

I am running an ATT branded 8525 that I updraded to Dutty's Diamond V1 build 19588.

While bbq'n at my company picnic Saturday, my phone got wet and fell onto the ground. Now, all I get is a screen with four colored bars, red, green, blue, and white. In the red, it says HERM100, IPL-104 and HERM100 SPL-2.03. I believe that this is the bootloader screen.

I have searched through this forum and have tried to unbrick it using mtty, but it does not see the device on the usb port.

I do not know what caused my problem, rain, or being dropped. The phone was working flawlessly for 4 weeks with this rom prior this incident. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Another person who didn't Hard SPL their phone......

Looks like you're in for some serious work to fix this... There are a lot of threads about this problem though I don't believe a lot of success.:(
I'd first try the wiki on how to unbrick your Hermes, it may offer a solution but the fact you didn't hard SPL your phone makes it harder (if not impossible) to fix... Also do a search on the forum, it may give you an answer BUT if you do recover your Hermes the 1ST THING TO DO IS INSTALL HARD SPL. It makes it so much easier to recover from these tragedies...

Here are a few threads...
