View Full Version : Appointment reminders gone haywire?!

Posting in the hopes others experience this, and have a solution ...

I cannot figure this out ... my outlook appointments remind me at the right time. I snooze or dismiss - but more and more often they re-appear within about 1-2 mins - buzzing like crazy. No matter what I do it seems, the appointments keep re-appearing.

If, on my desktop outlook, I dismiss the appointments and then re-synch ... it seems that this only DOUBLES the number of reminders .... (ie the appointment pops up twice in the same reminder session ... two on the screeen).

Anyone?

I can never find this on my phone (where the heck is it?)

All I can tell you is that RUU_Excalibur_WM61_Kavana_080408_WWE.exe is the last one I installed.

Its funny you mention that because I always have that ROM installed and this past couple of days, I'm having the same thing happen to me . . . . hmm, what could this be.

At least I know that it isn't something that I necessarily did wrong.

Dude lol! So I read this thread earlier, and was like ah that sucks, but hah, hasn't happened to me yet, so thought everything was good. I avoided the Y2k8 bug.

Then, had a reminder to take out the trash at 7pm. Snoozed 1 hour...2 minutes later BAM. I think nothing of it. Snooze for another hour. 2 minutes later BAM 2 of them pop up. So I got excited to participate in this bug.

Wtf.

This problem just started today. Rocking the RW Rom. Guess I'll try to use SkTools and remove the duplicate notifications queue if it keeps happening. :rolleyes:
