Hey guys,
I have recently bought an iPhone because it's 3G/wifi internet browsing speeds exceed those of a Uni, and of course a data plan of 6 gigs for an extra $30 a month....
My problem is that I'm not all that satisfied with the iPhone, thus I would like to go back to using my Uni on a data plan witch I currently have.
Problem!
I’m with FIDO (Canada) and they are telling me that if I try to use a none FIDO phone I will be charged by kilobyte regardless of my data plan which is essentially unlimited!
I would like to know if this is true? Do they have the ability to find out or distinguish between a none FIDO phone (my beloved Uni) and the iPhone which is a FIDO phone?
Words can’t describe how disappointed I am!!!
You’re help will be greatly appreciated….
