I don't know why, but some FLV can't play with CorePlayer or TCPMP. Try to transfer to your computer to see if they are playable ....

I know this plugin, but the first feature of this software is to download the videos.

When running your software, the video downloads and saves but not the entire video. lets say I am downloading a video that is 2.87mb, only 2.75 will save. I tried different videos from the 4 different sites and it's the same. Anything I should be looking at?

there are adult sites and non-adult sites...and it looks like he even gives hyper-sensitive prudes the option to remove websites from the list. so why insult him? just be grateful for a free, useful program and block sites you don't like.

keep including the porn sites. however, as the program develops and he gets dozens of sites he should include a one-click option to block adult sites so people don't have to do it one by one.

Jm81: very good piece of software.
It works (for download) on my TyTN II.
Waiting a flv player (or plugin), i have a suggest and some idea:
1. In cab you can set the link :) so it's immediatly usable after installation.
2. There are few string resources so, you can made it multilingual if someone help you in translation. I'm here for italian if you need (write me a PM).
3. Include a ico resouce in your exe: it's funny.
4. If developer language is VB, you ca easely compile a PC version :)

The idea of this program is a great one. The user interface for this program is terrible however, like when i want to do a new search on a different site i have to restart the application? Also i have had the program randomly crash on me several times, particularly if i try and hit the up button on my dpad to change the pages to quickly. Also unlike a previous posters comments, i think the porn as priority is an excellent idea as there are no applications i have seen geared toward the porn video world. My biggest problem with this software as such is that these flvs that download from all the porn sites dont work making this app useless for me as there are other better apps to access non porn videos. My suggestion would be to focus this program on the porn as there is not a porn geared application at the moment.

Goranger, which version of the plugin did you use? I tried ffvp6_v053.cab but I keep getting a version error, says that it is meant for an older version of OS or something like that. Can you please tell me which version of tcpmp and the on2 plugin you are using, much appreciated, thanks!

As a side, I'm trying out version 6 of wvd and it seems to be working fine, only one crash when I tried to exit the app.

Goranger, which version of the plugin did you use? I tried ffvp6_v053.cab but I keep getting a version error, says that it is meant for an older version of OS or something like that. Can you please tell me which version of tcpmp and the on2 plugin you are using, much appreciated, thanks!

As a side, I'm trying out version 6 of wvd and it seems to be working fine, only one crash when I tried to exit the app.

Thanks Goranagar I tried it but it crashes, I also tried the plugins with another recomp of .72rc1 that I found, it doesn't seem to play the flv4 vids I tried but it doesn't crash. I also get the wrong version of ffvsplitter etc. error but I've tried so many combinations I can't remember what I did last. I wipe everything out each time and even check my registry for any dirt at this point I've tried all sorts of versions of tcpmp from 72rc1 to rc3.
With just the basic rc1 or rc3 and flv plugin I can play and stream the basic flv1 but not the elusive 0n2 vp6.

jm81 your app still crashes but its not that bad for me. I can usually check out one or two vids before it crashes. I hope you keep up the great work this is really turning into a killer app!

Just get the flash video plugin bundle (on this site somewhere) for TCPMP and you will be able to play FLV files.

Ok, I've just installed the new version, but I found this issue. When I choose play video instead of download It get's me an error.
No problem for downloading.
When I close the program and try to launch it again it doesn't start. I have to restart the device

Well, I just gave it a try using CorePlayer, and I wasn't able to get very far. The searching went well, but the playback did not. I couldn't view the one video that loaded in full screen. I don't want to sound rude, since from what I have used it was great, except for the streaming. I tried almost all avail sites, and I think the one vid that did load was from YouTube. I had a few crashes though. I noticed that after typing the keywords, and performing the search, that when tapping to hide Resco KB, it would freeze for about 20 sec, and eventually crash.

All in all, great job, and keep it up!

i think you might think of putting pageup info at the bottom of the page, the info for the left and right eliminate that and just use the arrows for left and right navigation. you can do it that when there are more videos on the page, the right arrow shows up, when there is none, the arrows don't show. you can also make the thumb nails a little bit smaller. by doing all these there should be a lot more space available for maybe 4 or 6 more thumb nails and when the user double tap the thumb nail image they enlarge to good viewing size.

Make sure that your TCPMP player is associated with .m3u files goto the WVD folder and check that the shell.m3u file has the TCTMP icon as in picture:

This app is great! I like being able to download my favorite YouTube videos instead of having to use another app to search for them and then watch them. This makes it very convinent. I love it!

thanks for all the players. Quick question, I installed TCMP v.71 on my phone, it installed to the main memory, so I moved the folder to my storage card and rerouted the links. Do I have to move the folder back to the main memory to uninstall that version?

I'm so lost once I saw this. I installed the Web Video Downloader and when I tried to play a video and it said I don't have a program to view it on. I saw your post and it just threw me for a loop. What should I even do with this?

Also, is TCMP not meant to work on the HTC Touch? I get a Program Crash error when I try and launch it.

I tryed mplayer but can't associate flv file to open the streaming from WVD can only play flv file from ppc :(
And the play with tcpmp with on2vp6 works but the image do play and pause and play and pause and again (i don't know how to say l'image est saccadée)

well, youtube is working now again. but justin.tv doesnt work. befor you fixed the youtube prob there was the same error as in justin.tv...that m3u thingy...now yourtube works but justin.tv gives still this error. maybe you can fix it like you did with youtube?

I have lot bug and lag with TCpmp but with Coreplayer i can read very good all streams but not the famous On2VP6 flv videos. The better thing will be that someone can integrate this plugin in Coreplayer !!!

FYI, to uncheck M3U files, it is in : Menu => Tools => Preference => Select Page => File Association; and I unchecked Macromedia Flash Video (M3U was not checked)

u just need to kill the process...get sktools and start the process manager...there u can see that its still opened after u closed wvd. terminate it and u can reopen wvd...of course this sux and i hope this little bug can be fixed beside a workin justin.tv :D

Love the program, but i have some problems with the newest version. it seems like the searching and sorting doesn't work with some of the sites. tnaflix for example, no matter what keyword you search, or what catagory, the results have nothing to do with the search request, same with some other sites too.

On my HTC Touch, I have no problem when I use the exit button (Menu->Exit)
If you use the (X) on top, it's only minimize the window.

Another feedback. I noticed activities or events like BT connecting to BT earpiece, receiving an sms, in the middle of downloading a video will stop the HSDPA connection and therefore download stops. This seems to be happening on the Kaiser roms that I had been using.

Anyone faces this problem?

Great app!!! However I can barely view anything... I've tried 4 clips from Pornhub and none of them could be viewed with Coreplayer... Most from youtube plays fine though.
