even the program it self is piracy according to TomTom.. I bought traffic and speed cameras to my Kaiser and wanted to transfer that to this phone too which I could do except callign TomTom and fax a copy of the recipe on the phone with TomTom installed on.. which I couldn't since it aint pre-installed on the Raphael.

So yeah it's piracy, even without the maps.

in most of the time it will say that you have to uninstal ttn6, v6 maps will probably work but why use it? v7.25 maps are the latest :)

I install TOMTOM 6.030, works fine, set com4 speed 9600, takes a few mins to fine signal.

Has anyone got TT Traffic to work, or have any idea why i am having problems? I have the trial enabled, and everything appears ok - i.e it says its downloading traffic, and the circle turns green once completed. However, i can see no traffic information on the browse map (yes i have selected display traffic).

Just to make it clear, the tomtom software (from version 7 onwards) requires you to pay for maps and voices etc.... posting the cab on here WITHOUT maps and voices is fine as the software is technically free.

Weve received a few reports about this thread and notice it is still going, had maps/keygens/voices been posted then we would have dealt with that appropriatly.

I hope I'm not hijacking the thread... I would like to ask if anyone knows what are the cspeech_FRA.dat files for in the maps folder?
I have the map of Western and Central Europe (1.8GB) and I wanted to save some space on my storage card.
It seems that most of the countries have their own cspeech file.
I tried to delete one and I found no difference in TT7. The map of the particulat country seemed without change, TT7 worked w/o problems.
Can anyone tell me what are they for?

you can't use the traffic addon or speed cameras since you can't verrify that the program is registerd to you. It's as simple as that.

To be able to have traffic addon enable you need to own the software your self.

sadly TomTom7 aint up for sale yet .. if ever. :/

Not true. The traffic add on has registered correctly and the product has registered correctly on my tomtom home account. I have paid for the maps from the tomtom website and everything is legitimate. Traffic connects as it should, i just dont see the icons on the map. Speed camera subscription works fine.

I just got TT 7 and...WOW!!!
I used to have it on my old universal, but the difference is huge! Either there's a great improvement on this tomtom, or (rather...) is the difference in phone speed huge!
TT7 is amazingly fast, simply perfect!

The trick is to go to the Tomtom German site and Tomtom Home is available with navigator 7 support.
If you then change "my device" in the Tomtom site to the vodaphone Diamond.
Now all the latest version 7 maps are available for your Touch Pro.

After talking to Tomtom rep in headquarters in Netherland it seems that ANY localization of 2.4 version is good for Navigator 7 - not only german one - they just were smart enough to actually wrote this on their web. (download the version for Tomtom GO, as GO has become technically an equivalent to Navigator 7)

How do I get MapShare to work?

I connect TomTom 7 to TomTom Home and choose to update sd card!
But it never finds any updates, I always get the message that my map is up to date!

Please help!

I have no time to test 7.451 with maps version 6.xx; but TT 7.451 requires a completely new activation code even with maps version 7.xx which are currently activated on TT 7.450.

I talked to TomTom Support, explaining that I'm a long time TomTom customer, and would like to buy TomTom Navigator 7 for my TP.
The respond was, it will be out after the summer... Well, we are there now, so it can't be long... *hoping*

I am looking to buy US maps for navigator 7 and it does not seem to be available through the tomtom website. Anyone know where I can purchase the US maps?

Ok. I went to tomtom website and downloaded tomtom home. When I run this software it updated my navigator 7 and gave me some voices that I did not have at no charge. When I go to purchase new maps it shows that none are available. (I do have the one free city map which I downloaded directly from my phone) Any suggestions on how to get US maps or what I am doing wrong?
