Hi

Can anybody help with phone speed dial issue.
I use SPB pocket plus and not the touchflow as my interface.
Is there any way to have phone speed dial (not voice dial or picture speed dial) on the today screen as a SPB button/shortcut.
I can only seem to access speed dial by first accessing phone and then selecting from the soft menu.
Much too difficult when you are driving.
Do you know what file and location for the speed dial is so I can shortcut using pocket plus ?
Alternatively can anybody recommend a good third party application to do this that gives a simple speed dial menu with out pictures or voice modes or other complicated features that I am sure many do not use.

thanks for your help

You can press "Call" then "Press & Hold" any number from 2 to 9 for speed dial.
You just need to set from the Right Softkey MENU > SPEED DIAL > then set your favourite numbers.

thanks for that, it does help some although I typically have around 15 numbers in my speed dial so remembering the individual numbers is hard.

On my old HTC P3600 you could access speed dial by call button and then the down arrow, and then scroll or finger prod down the 15 or so numbers to the one you wanted, quite easy when driving and not too much visual attention needed.

The only way I have found of doing it so far is to copy the speed dials to the sim card ( all others in phone memory) and using pocket plus have a short cut to sim manager on the today screen.
So all I do is press sim manager shortcut and then scroll through the list, works pretty well but the old phone had bigger menu lines so you could just select by prodding your finger on the screen where as the sim manager lines are close together making finger use hard, particularly when driving.
