Hi, My Tytn becomes hot after about an hour and the battery doesn't last a day even in stand by. Is it a hardware issue? please help.

This has been asked before.

In short it may be running applications needing properly closed (not just tapping the X) or perhaps Active Sync is running in the background or your phone is constantly swiching bands and should be set to a fixed band or maybe you have it polling push mail every 5 minutes etc etc.
