This is exactly the kind of post that will get you flamed like a Kleenex in a blast furnace.

ROM's are like the perfect margarita... everyone has their own preferences and tastes.

Just start trying them by READING THE FRICKING THREADS attached to them.

If your next question was going to be "How do I flash a ROM", we are going to come to your house and beat up your lawn gnome.

not flaming and not asking which one is best, what i am asking is to be told what the repliers prefrence is. i have been searching for hours and i see some ppl use 2 or 3 roms now what i dont know is why they use one over the other or flip back and forth etc. so i am looking to find out what ppl prefer so i can use my search feature and have a head start on a few hundred post is all no flame in that is there

20 minutes too long to wait? You already created this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=428001) in General.

JimmyMcGee will be along shortly to merge and close these threads, and he will also point you to the Announcement at the top of the forum to explain why.

Glad to see you have a new Tilt. There are so many roms out there that it is hard to narrow it down to just three. Here are a couple of links to roms that I think are pretty good.

You guys are all dicks!! It took longer to post your cutesy little answers than to provide anything useful.

I am currently enjoying HyperDragon Pro with Manilla2d (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=397121). before that I was using Laurentius ROM's (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416276). Before that, I was using a Nokia N80.

Now go try flashign some ROM's and find YOUR favorite and whatever you do, don't turn into one of the lonely virgins that previously answered your post.

I'm fairly new to the Tilt also, but I just installed the HyperDragon III Pro with Manilla 2D and I love it. What I did was decide what is important to me as far as features go and then skim through some of the ROM threads and then picked the one that had the least complaints about the features I want...I hope that makes sense.

My suggestion is that you go back and read the rules. Then you read the forum. Then you get your phone hardspl'd and security unlocked. Then you pick a rom and flash it. If you don't flash it, then flash another. Please don't clutter this forum with these silly and pointless threads that apparently everyone things we need a new one every day.

You sir are out of line. The OP not only double posted, but he created a new thread in the ROM development forum asking a question that's been CLEARLY deemed on appropriate hundreds of times already. The OP has shown no respect for the forum rules and policies. I imagine he hasn't even bothered to read them, nor the "before posting please read this" mod thread at the top of the page.

It takes countless hours to read the forum, flash and test all roms / programs.

There is no value in ranking three roms, neither there is value in your post. Just insults, not even fun or flame.

first off my post isnt about a flame, its about an opinion on what the person uses and why, every one will have there own opinion like every one has an a$$ hole and some can be them.

next i posted in the wrong section because as i said i have been reading up on roms on this site i have over 20 tabs open on this site alone. now the reason why i asked for the replier top choice is to find out if there is a feature they needed and why so i can figure out what some of these things are, such as manilla and 3d drivers or what have you. if one of them features are great then it helps weed thru some of the post. roms have hundred of pages.

intelligent ppl ask question and other intelligent ppl understand thats part of the learning progress, a$$es waste there own time trying to be smart. i didnt ask for any hand outs my phone wasnt an easy flash it would go white screen. but i did research that one on my own that was a specific problem roms is just in general question you either have an opinion or you dont why waste web space with usless comments. if you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem and before another smart one says something i am not spell check anything dont care this is just a forum

There is a well established patter than ALL "what is the best rom" threads will be closed. in face if you check the very top post by Jimmy McGee entitled "read before posting" you will see a section called "Follow the Rules" which specifically mentions "which is the best rom?" threads.

Before you get on your soapbox about respect, try following your own advice first.

For those who apparently can't find it, here is the mod post by jimmy which i am referring to, at the very top of every kaiser forum page:

Correct.

Search for yourself and then make an educated decision.
