Hi everyone,
Some news about my work : i stop creating roms.
My reasons : for some time, i try to integrate the new sys 19593 and 19700, without success, each time the phone freeze at boot.
I am tired, i tried several and several solutions, but no success. I stop my research, except if somebody can help me.
I sought too a long time, it is finished, no more motivation.
You have very good roms here : like Mona Lisa ! ;)
Bye.

Quote...I think your roms were the absolutely a step ahead in terms of productivity...I also think that 19700 is not fastest than other XIP but it gives that good impression mainly because they have accellerated the scrolling...nothing more..
I was waiting for a NEO ULTIMATE version maybe with NEO WORKING in WM 6.1 and maybe with the Boot UP screen from MONA LISA (NOT the 19700 one) tha one with percentage which I think is beautiful to see and also quick in booting on the phone.
Whatever you'll decide I'm sure you know you have done a GREAT contribution to us, vox users, and also to XDA community.

hey man.. sad to hear.... i beleive that it is just because you are tired.. you wont give up? right????
Anyway thnx for your roms [i use it :)]
and i found this phrase in some SYS porting Guide.. lol
Info: In some cases you will need to copy WinCENLS_WWE folder to SYS folder (if not present in Donor's SYS) from your original ElfIn SYS otherwise your device will not boot

I dont have any idea about it.. but thought it might be helpfull!
Edit: it is already here

Fireburned, it has been an honor to chat with you and use your roms. I have enjoyed upgrading and it was because of you that I have enjoyed this phone so much. What you have done on here has been absolutely impressive and you will be missed by a great many of us. Thank you so very much for all of your hard work and time spent on the many projects you have contributed to all of us. Would hate to see such a giving person leave, but can understand totally the "I'm tired" aspect of it. Perhaps a vacation away from the software side for a little while, might be in order. Whatever you decide, I wish you all the best and do hope you keep in touch with us, whether creating or not. Take care my friend!

Fireburned, I feel sorry for you. Frustrations indeed come from failures but remember that failures are the pillars of success. I think other cookers will be able to help you once they hear about your frustration. Rather we would like to invite Dr Gonzo, Hikey, Frauhottelmann and all other cookers to this thread to help you out. Anyway the final decision is yours. And finally many thanks to you for your invaluable ROMS which made our equipment a prized possession. Will wait for you to cook better next time.
Thanks

Well entering and going out from folders\subfolders....Windows folder acces time and other things SEEMS TO ME the same as other quick roms out here....i repeat IMHO only scrolling as been improved...surely scrolling fasters helps in usability...no doubt on this...

Well, as far as I am concerned for entering and in folders and other operations are also faster but obviously a Xip update does not update your processor:D

fireburned,
i moved to your WM 6.1 clean ROM from Dr's Monalisa 19700 ROM and i found yours to be more cleaner and more better base to add-in the big apps/games.
Dr. MG Started it all of the best Vox WM 6.x ROM's and you have upped the ante; we all suggest you NOT TO GIVE UP.
Best Regards,
Chandan

fireburned I think you probably need a little break, but there are lots of people out there who not only enjoy your work, but benefit from it greatly!
Sit back, enjoy your achievements for a while then maybe you will work out where the problem lies in a sort of light-bulb moment.
Best of luck,
Olly.

Thanks all of you for your support, you are really nice !
Some news about me :
I continued my work, i tried a lot of solutions, and i found my problem.
I tried 19593 sys, it has bugs (with sim card), and i didn't find 19700 official SYS, if somebody has it, i'm really interested.
At this time, my phone works on wm6.1 Build 19214.1.0.4 in french language (040C) :)
If somebody has 19700 sys, tell me !

What about integrating Manila instead of Neo Dock?..I've tryed Manila (the release of 30 September) on my Vox, and it works without touchscreen but the items are all collapsed and needs a fix but regardless this is responsive, and it's smooth.

cruzzmz : i tried a lot of SYS, and i had some problems.
1 : No RGU files in SYS folder... (cooked sys) => Freeze at boot
2 : Wrong values in G'Reloc (good values can be found in an official rom, .VM folder) => Freeze at boot
3 : No problem for me with shellres
4 : No problem with WinCE_NLS in SYS folder (already in smartphone XIP, but necessary on a PPC rom)
combory : I'm trying my rom (fr), if it's ok, i'll upload it. But i have a little bug with "About", maybe with others modules too.
TheBo : do you have a link to try it ?

I've just tryed installing (just to see what's what)
*Manila2D_1.00_1819.2926.CAB
*Manilla2D_HTC_Patch.CAB
after that I rebooted, nothing happens...the I looked in /Windows folder Manila2D.exe and you'll see the crappy version of manila in our Vox, well apart of the visualization issues it goes smooth...so the rest is to you...
