I dont see any difference in our messagingwidget section, but then again that may mean nothing.

The only thing I did notice about your file is there are a ton of tabs and extra spaces, I doubt that is messing it up because if it was it would be causing more problems than just the sms issue.

Also I would just like to note that I'm running fine over here with sms's mms's and youtube is working fine as well. However, I did apply one of the Supercar V1 themes to my device, I don't know if that changes anything in the XML file.

That should be some errors of your connection. V10 downloaded and flashed with sucess.

Try to download some other file to see if you get the same error.

Hey not-available, well without really concise numbers done with good testing, I'd say it's at least on par if not a hair better than other ROMs using GPS with this radio. I've been very happy with this radio and call quality as well, no echo and pretty good signal. No dropped calls here yet. This ROM really is a keeper :D in my book. Sorry for the cheeseyness.

Well to follow up it did the same thing, I reset the device, applied your Ferrari V2 theme, and then took the extracted xml file from the Ferrari V2 file, and copied it to the windows directory overwriting the original soft reset and TouchFLO wont run anymore.

Might be a V10 thing...

My themes either v1 or v2 will NOT work properly or work at all on v10 this is becuase v10 has newer touchflo 2d manila build as well as a lot of changes in the HTCHomesettings.xml so that you get a pleasing view in landscape although IMHO manila 2d will never be fully landscape compatible as HTC never designed it to work in that mode, one can only hack so much you know!

anyway I will soon be updating my themes so it should be compatible, hopefully I should have it done by the weekend;)

Ok it was easier then I thought BerettaFreak! nearly finished I will post link for my updated supercar themes in the morning that will now work with v10 with no problems:-)

Has anyone tried using Garmin Mobile XT on v9 or v10? I can install it and run it at least once.. but after that.. it never loads. It just brings up the blue garmin screen and reverts back to my Folder where I have the shortcut placed. I have deleted and reinstalled several times on both roms. The only way I can get it to work is to hard reset the device and reinstall garmin completely. And after the first use.. it no longer works. I have all my usual programs that I have with v5.. no issues with the older rom, garmin always worked on that version.

Did you try to flash an original ROM from SD-card? If not: do so.

I am running v9, and Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.20 runs fine. The only issue is that it drains the battery somewhat faster if I use it for routing.

Which version are you using? Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.10 is having memory issue and it always crashes regardless of ROMs.

In landscape, there is something odd with the fonts and they are a little tough to read. This can be seen when reading through a threaded sms conversation in landscape. Is there a way to fix this? (In portrait, they look as they should)

I'm using Garmin XT everyday. I've never had any problems with it with any rom including v9 or v10. In fact I'm running it right now on v10.
You might try d/l an update from Garmin site. It might help.

Hi i know this might have been asked before but ive seem to have search everywhere in the kaiser section, ive recently flashed V10 and im happy with it but i installed opera 9.5b2 but the shortcut doesnt work in touchflo 3d it still opens pie6 which i really cant use for browsing because its not easy to use at all, also the touchflo config is nowhere to be found and something in advanced configurator is shown but gives an error trying to find the touchflo configurator.

Anyone know how to override the touchflo shortcut settings?

And writing a message or in any other menu and press ok to go back to the today screen it flips the screen 90degrees back to the way its when its closed.

V10 isn't doing this to me it has been staying where it should be, but please keep in mind that Manila 2D really has no full landscape yet it originally was portrait only, so there will be this bug for a while from time to time, and this problem exists in many other chefs M2D roms. but give it time and a full landscape M2D will come into light. ;)

Have you checked? Is your Radio compatible with ROM. Please publish your Radio version too.

I've just manage to install this rom.. my first rom haha
everything looks good..
only problem is that I can only make/receive 1 phone call.
after that, no sound for ringer,system, everything.
after each soft reset, it's the same.
also the comms manager is not working.

but nothing wrong wif the ROM..
it's becos I had installed a different radio haha

Is there anyway to view the old Today screen?

I have 2 applications (Chronos and MagiCall) that display information on the old Today screen that it does not show when you start the application from the Programs folder.

gfreek I did as you said but I still have a problem. Everything shows up fine all the tabs are there after doing the home xml copy, but the extended forecast doesnt show anything, the tabs there but its not populated with icons or info. The main weather shows up fine.

For now I'll revert back to a V1 setup.

Good enough. It's not a deal breaker but it is nice to tap the Chronos today plugin and see what alarms are going off the following day. As it stands now I have to start the app and select each alarm to see if it is set to go off on the following day. No biggie though ;)

Edit: I just have to say this is by far the fastest and most stable rom I have used to date. Great work, chef!

Ah, you are correct, BUT you have to be sure to install HTC home before doing this otherwise thats not an option. I just tested it and it does work but I didn't have HTC home installed so I couldn't be sure that the old home screen would show up, but I'm sure it will.

Kudos Abusalza on a great ROM! :D I've been using Sakajati's HyperDragon III since I've did my first ROM flashing a month or 2 ago - his are certainly great, but after hearing of this ROM from TiltMobility (http://tiltmobility.com/2008/11/rom-review/) - I thought I would give it a whirl. I flashed PDACornerUltimate.V10 on my Tilt this morning, I couldn't be more tickled on how smooth an nice this ROM works in comparison!

The new IE6 works great - which I wasn't able to get to work on another ROM with it cooked in. I also use SASHIMI (great for everyone that is a flashing fanatic!) and that worked without issue as well.

I am having issue with IE. For example if I open the XDA-Dev forum, IE renders the table view correctly but I will have to scroll up and down, also to the left and right to see the complete page even though I have set it to 'Mobile View'. While doing so, the screen does not completely re-draws, there is always a part or a block of text/images of the previous screen.

Just dropped by to say thanks for version 10. I was using v9 but had the power button problem where I had to press it twice to bring the phone out of standby. Version 10 fixed that and a few other minor issues. Just great.

K, go into the text messaging options -> Servers -> select AT&T MMS -> change "Connect via: "AT&T ISP" to "Media Net."

everyone was right this rom is sick...so far it has outdone Garmin and SJ in my opinion... except for one thing which is really important to me ... the battery drain.. i noticed this rom drains faster than Garmins Dk 4.3 final (which lasted 2 1/2 days until charged). I have been switching radios with not so much luck... How much time does everyone else get on this rom before having to charge?

Im guessing that all the extras that A included in this rom (including landscape) drains the battery faster. maybe he should create a lite version?

I installed V10 and so far am loving it. I was using L26 roms and my biggest issues were that i could not get through a full day on the battery charge. Now with this rom i can get through at least a full day from what i seems right now.

Issues/questions:

When I go under MMS Options/Servers I do not see any AT&T listed servers and thats what I have and would need to connect to so any help on that is appreciated.

Secondly do any of you guys use BlackBerry Connect with this rom or a pervious versions? The reason is that I need to get to my emails a little quicker then the 5 minutes settings I have. Sometimes I need to get into meetings or have production issues that I just cant wait for.

PS. I installed the Communications manager from the Hermes thread and so far looks really good. Has anyone put the Phone dialer from there as well? That looks really nice as well.

installed it recently noticed the landscape type isn't as clear as earlier versions. also when typing it misses a few letters must press some buttons twice to get it to type it. ( randomly the keyboard is fine. on older versions. )

Same here, really great ROM just wish IGO8 would work for me.
I have found a fix but a bit long winded.

Goto TODAY and disable touch flo, then soft reset. Problem is I use TouchFlo all the time and love it.

What worked for me was editing the sys.txt file in the iGO8 folder to say:

app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"
content="SDCARD%/iGO8/content"

My problem when I started with the program was that when I tried to install iGO8 nothing would happened and this solution fixed it. I think I saw it on demonoid.
I am not sure what it said before but, I do know that this should change the folder path. It worked for me and hopefully it should work for you.

First of all hats of to the chef (abusalza) for an awesome make......At 2 am yesterday I was actually up flashing my phone....I really love this ROM with the experience so far.....Look what my Windows Mobile can do you Iphone owners..... I have been using Duttys rom for the past 7-8 months....and after seeing this, I had to give it a try and I am not at all disappointed. Would like to keep this for the next 7 or 8 months....thats the reason why I would like to get these issues figured out.....

here are few problems I had,

1. After few failed attempts of outlook sync thru outlook config, I saw this message titled "tips and tricks of Outlook" or somthing similar in the Inbox. As expected i saw the notification with the number "1" on the mail icon. So the problem is that it is still there even after reading and deleting the message. I did many soft reset and that didnt solve the issue. I synced it with work computer and now outlook mail, contacts and calender is updated, but it still shows the 1 mail sign. Any thoughts.....

2. ROM acting Weird with QuickMenu: I depend on quick menu application for accessing my files and it helps me keep them organized. I got lot of error messages after each soft reset, I dont know if it is due to QuickMenu being an exe file or not. I tried copying it into the startup folder, but no luck. Wud love to get this working with this ROM....Any thoughts.....

3. I have plenty of .flv files in my sd card (dowloads from youtube). Is there any other suitable software that I can use to play these.....I used TCMP with duttys, but I read the posts and learned that it currently wont work with this ROM...I tried to open TCMP after install but it gave me errors.....

Any help wud be greatly appreciated.....

I just flashed up to V10 from V9 and all of a sudden I am not able to send text messages. I can't get to the option to send SMS's from Manilla or any other way. When I tap on the "new message" button in Manilla it takes me to the place where you can choose an email account or set up a new one.

Open your email account, go the Inbox drop down list, open the Outlook Email folder and you should see the unread email there, delete and it will be gone from the quickmenu. It has something to do with activesync and Exchange.

This is my first time using this 3D roms.

I have 2 questions:

- How do I fix the problem with the Alarm, It is not giving any sound? (Is there any menu to choose the Sound music of the Alarm, because the alarm menu i could not find under sounds and alerts menu). Also when I use multiple alarm (I choose all working days) it disables itself after the first day and does not goes active for the second time unless i click on the alarm menu and close it again?

- Secondly how can I change or rearrange the icons on the sliding Bar? (Home, People, Message, Mail,.....)

I'm glad you've removed IE 6 on v11 and given it as a cab option IMHO I don't like it even though I actually use Skyfire and Oper 9.5!

Open your email account, go the Inbox drop down list, open the Outlook Email folder and you should see the unread email there, delete and it will be gone from the quickmenu. It has something to do with activesync and Exchange.

But the problem is, there is no unread mails in my inbox.......I deleted all the mails from all the folders......but it still has the "1" next to Inbox in parenthesis....Not a major setback......but is annoying.....

Whats the opinion on reflashing the ROM.....now that V11 is out....I mite give that a try......

Battery drains kinda fast... I have used your roms and some other ones and battery with my radio 1.65.24.36 i am in the chicago area ATT has always been good for me. Is there a tweek i need to do or something? 15% lost in 13 minutes or so just installed 2 programs and set some system stuff up so no calls or wifi.. just seems too fast of a drain.

Try this worked fine for me. just follow the instructions and do the reg=edit as well as explained. I used the HTC-8900 for my Tilt and now I have the CV back and not a disabled Pie. Let me know if it helped.

Just test the room! It looks nice. There's only one thing that I want to ask. I'm using IGO8 as my Navigation software. I have tested it on version 11. When I stared the software, it automatically connect to GPRS which did not happen on any other version before. I think I should stick back with the V10.Thank you anyway.

just extract the.m2dct file from zip file and copy M2DC theme folder and apply by default you will get Analogue and Digital clock mix, you can disable this by M2DC! get the latest M2DC from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427392

Credit to poorlyduck for digital clock I just added the goldish shade, and the rest I modified myself, some from scratch!

did you tried updated your position with quickgps?

edit: maybe those problem come from agps setting. open settings-system tab and run agps setting, open privacy tab and uncheck enable agps location blah...blah...
or simply uncheck enable agps on general tab

Hi all, I'm using V11, Radio 1.65.24.36
when i try to send text message it comes us
"select account or hotmail setup email" also my mail stops going through Xpress Mail after initial set-up.

I'm loving on the Rom, but these are two very important issues for me. As I'm in the US. I reinstall the rom 3 times, took out my Sim before installing and then hard-reset and then installed my Sim and did a manual connection to ATT, US.
Any suggestions? I've searched through and just not coming up with anything here in the Thread.

I`ve got the same problem. Hardreset doesn`t help. I can`t send a sms and mms. In ROM sms doesn`t act. I`ll use version 9 again. There act all.

I had problems with GPS with the above radio.
Also, try disabling AGPS.

Hey guys, I know few of us had problems with the battery drain on the V10. How is the battery drain on the V11... I love this rom but I need to be able to use my phone longer without charging it than I was able to with the V10

Since I am able to move the "Program" screen icon to the middle of the HomeScreen I remapped its soft button location to Contacts. I also installed ActionScreen and mapped it to the left hand soft key.

I have no issues except for more than normal battery consumption, however I am testing a new radio and I will see if it helps save battery juice.

All in all this ROM is very robust and looks and feels like how it was intended. I am going to keep it on one of my tilts until Abusalza gets busy again and introduces his TF3D or Manila3D ROM.

Great job.

BTW no issues with Email, Exchange, MMS, SMS, Internet access, Alarm, Weather, Programs, Camera & Album, and Music.

Hi After some much needed info that I got from Dbaser, thank you again, I've been doing alot of installs and downloads for about 2 hours, trying stuff out, web-surffing, text, email, and i'm at 57% battery life. and I'm using the standard batt with the Tilt, I do have 2600 that I can use but I'll see what happens here. This rom is fast as hell.

I had the same issue with one of the versions - Make sure that your battery is around 90% - I would flash a different ROM and then flash this one

I'm still on V10.2G as I am happy with this edition and I do use IE. I tried V11 but could not seem to install IE through cab, error message galore. I've got TT7 installed and it works perfectely fine like everything else. Radio is also 1.70.19.09.

After flashing several ROM's and radio's I flashed the latest original HTC ROM to get back to the "start" I suppose. I then flashed V10 and he presto, all my issues seem to be history:D Even my MDVR (remote CCTV application) came back to life. All is good in the hood:cool:

Which version of HardSPL are you using? If you dont know then go into the bootloader by holding the power and camera buttons in fully while pressing the reset button with the stylus for about 3 seconds until the tri-colour screen comes up. Then read the 2nd line down thats the SPL version.

If you havent already then read my Flashing guide (in my sig) thoroughly to make sure you have gone through all the correct steps for a good flash.

Flashing a Stock Rom first does fix alot of issues too in certain cases. Let me know if you need any more help :)

concerning the battery drain... I still think its a wicked fast drainage problem I just had my phone fully charged, made one quick phone call(1min), one text message all in about 8 mins time and lost 4 percent battery. I am using Cmonex hard spl 3.29 with 1.65.21.18 (newest at&t radio) and I live in upstate new york. let me know what you guys think about the battery drain because so far garmins final dk 4.3 rom has had the best battery performance out of all the roms i have tried and believe me I tried almost all of them.

I meant the 8th picture in the screenshots ( 2nd row 3rd to the right) i believe that is the tf3d landscape mode image. however that is not what i get when I slide out my keyboard. this is the landscape im talking about

concerning the battery drain... I still think its a wicked fast drainage problem I just had my phone fully charged, made one quick phone call(1min), one text message all in about 8 mins time and lost 4 percent battery. I am using hard spl 3.56 with 1.58.25.17 radio, & I do ALOT of 3G websurfing on my phone, and I've not noticed any excessive battery drain on this rom (V11). :( kaisers hate the stock batteries no matter what rom, lol. Have you tried the 1.58.25.17 radio?

The opal volume control seems to increase/decrease very slow wether others opal volume control increases and decreases pretty fast by lightly sliding your finger up and down
slow response of the on-screen volume control...

Which version of HardSPL are you using? If you dont know then go into the bootloader by holding the power and camera buttons in fully while pressing the reset button with the stylus for about 3 seconds until the tri-colour screen comes up. Then read the 2nd line down thats the SPL version.

If you havent already then read my Flashing guide (in my sig) thoroughly to make sure you have gone through all the correct steps for a good flash.

Flashing a Stock Rom first does fix alot of issues too in certain cases. Let me know if you need any more help :)
hardspl version 3.56 is what i have...i reflashed the rom with 100% battery but still it seems the same.....will flash the stock rom soon...

immortal I noticed that also. Sj new rom is lightening quick response to icreasing the volume by sliding this rom in that regard is slow. But is this indicative of something more?

I all ways just reinstall that way I have less problems, I know its a head ache but it works, maybe try using UC.
Hi..so meaning U reinstall instead of restore?

Also, when I'm keying in contact's name during SMS, usually the list of contacts' name, eg when I type Tom, a list of names like Tom, Tommy comes out. Now it still comes out the the background and font are in white.
So I can't really read the list of names.
