M2D NOT SUPPORT Landscape at this moment, we just hacked it as far as we can
3G version (refer to dialer only and not on network, that's mean dialer has support video calling) will upload later. Can't test due my provider problem

No sound on touchflo (thankks hpacura), just copy all files on Windows\TouchFlo to Windows folder

abusalza, the 3 screen shots you posted looks great. But I know that many here are going to want to see more screen shots, including a healthy list of applications (and the version of each application) as well.
I say posting about 10 screen shots should be good. If you're going to continue creating roms, I'd put up a paypal link as well, if I was you. It's a good motivator.
If this is your first attempt at cooking/releasing your own rom, Congrats. I look forward to see more.

if you found a tweak to add and raise that laggy voice of kaiser will be great
as well as a working overclocking program for the processor

i also suggest just place the needed apps
some gps application to enhance it not garmin etc..

First of all welcome to the community.

Currently on the today screen, you can see only one item that is on your calendar. And if that one item happens to be an all-day activity then you can not see anything else but that.

Suggestion/Question: Is it possible to see multiple calender items on your today screen? On the Raphal youtube review demo, I saw the user scrolling through multiple calender items. is it possible to create something like that?

From initial file format to adding colors to the top icons are top notch.
My phone always say 3G AT&T, no matter which rom I flash but this one says "UMTS AT&T" .
The letter H turns yellow when there is a data connection-NICE.
The Battery meter on top shows an actual percentage left in green color.
YouTube works flawlessly.
For me (AT&T),I just had to uncheck "proxy"to get the gmail setting to work.
I could be wrong but the connection speed seems faster with this rom(download speed).I am using the same radio that I am used to (1.65.24.36).
Another new app is ClearType Tuner..NICE>
I have downloaded other Manilla Themed Roms but I ll stay with PDACornerUltimate for while until new version comes out.
Anybody on AT&T should try this..

start > settings> system > TouchFlo. checking enable large start menu doesnt stick after soft reset.

The first screen shot shows a reading of 1% but if I click on it, the power displays 93%. Most likely the initial dll got overwritten by the dialer dll. unfortunately I can not sync with exchange 07. I think is just the adds to the device information or the change on the ROM name... or something like that... that happens in some ROMs to me... I will have to go back to other one.

I think Chefs should stamp their signatures in another places in the ROMs as that affects big time some of us.

Hi, It is a great ROM. Almost perfect except my audio/sound isn't working. No ringtones, or sound from youtube etc. The phone works though (people can hear me and I them) but no ring tone (only vibrate or visual).

PLEASE HELP. I don't want to change ROM's but may have to.

One suggestion is to add the HTC GPS Tool.

Keep in mind the chef uses his kaiser to tether as modem and the connection in samarinda isn't exactly lightning ... also he had bad luck with a virus had to rebuild his kitchen, trust me his dish are always delicious, he will please the kaiser world no doubt.

You should try running a second today screen. Keeps the original functionality while still using Manilla as your primary today screen.

You can disable but I notice when you soft reset, it will try to initialize again, this means you will always have to disable in in your today settings.
You may want to go with an HTC Home ROM.

I'm having issues with voice commander. Even after a hard reset, it still will easily freeze my device. I tried installing the version 3 beta, but it made it worse. The beta has worked with similar setups with manilla.

edit: My fault, it was an incompatible radio. I had no idea the radio could cause the issue.

I always deactive touchflo from today settings before I install any changes.
I was able to install a theme that changed the background and colors but the clock did not change.

I thought ATW may have been right because I restored my V1 backup to V2, which would overwrite the HTCHOME.xml, so.......

Today, just for the heck of it, I did a hard reset and did not restore or install anything before I attepmted just to install a clock, same result. You click screen to start touchflo, it says its starting then goes back to "click here...."
Has anyone else been able to change their clock on V2?
I wonder if its a write protection issue or something?

I had V1 running slick except for the SIP issue, a necessity, just can't quite get V2 there.
I guess I would ask for V1 theme setup in V3 because it looks 100% better than the stock blue theme and clock.

I also have this issue with the weather updating. My city is showing but the update is 36 hours old and it won't update to current. The only reason I am getting the 36 hour old update is because I had it working on V1 and restored my V1 backup to V2.

I played with Manilla for a few minutes after installing and could not figure out how to display my appointments? So I disabled FTouchFlo and installed my normal Today Items. These seem to stick past a soft-reset.

Only thing I noticed is that the installed Advanced Config is 3.0.. I think its up to version 3.2

So far so good.. will play with it for a few days.

I also have this issue with the weather updating. My city is showing but the update is 36 hours old and it won't update to current. The only reason I am getting the 36 hour old update is because I had it working on V1 and restored my V1 backup to V2.
Back to V1 for me I guess.....

From the list of programs installed on the first post looks like he has joint MMS, so the only way you send MMS is to go into the item you wish to send, and send it. Not entirely sure but yeah as long as you have your connections set up it should be all good, I am skipping the kaiser, to get the touch 3g so only helping the chef out in any way I can.

HR solved the missing sms account problem.
rom is amazing,quite speedy.. however I've found another small cosmetic problem.

Under the Music Tab, the "down" arrow is skinned blue like in the original Manilla2D skin. Is there an easy fix for that? Maybe put up the icon file to replace?

I have been using this ROM for the last couple of days and I have not noticed the issue you have, have you tried flashing a different RADIO? that may help as I had similar issue witH a previous ROM.

so far I'm really pleased with this ROM so welldone abusalza:-) SJ's HD ROM's maybe flavour of the month but this ROM is a hidden gem, bit of a darkhorse!

This is my third ROM. It has everything I need and it is pretty darn fast. The color icons are awesome, esp. the battery level by percentage. So far everything is working well with the exception of having to push the power button twice sometimes to power on, but I can live with that for now.

I have noticed this but you may also have noticed that the welcomehead.96.png does not load this is a known issue that's plagued SJ's HD ROM’s from 24 Sept onwards, to date there has been no known solution I have checked the registry but cannot see anything wrong. SJ suspects it could be a new feature of this particular build 20755 he could be right but the delay in boot up could indicate the boot sequence is trying to load the welecomehead.96.png but it's not loading for some odd reason???

If only we could find out what’s causing this, then maybe we will be able to resolve this issue and speed up bootup time!


Personally this doesn't bother me as it has no effect on the OS, it just cosmetics!

I can now also confirm there is an intermittent issue of having to press power button twice, did play with the registry with regards to power management but no joy issue still persist.

I have to press the power button twice everytime. I do remember running in to this issue in my Wizard days i think! But not sure what the fix is. I am pretty sure it is some kind of a registry tweak!:)

Thanks for the recommendation. I've used S2U2 in the past. It is a slick program, but I've always had some issues with it with past ROMs. Now, I use the standard devicelock to lock my phone. As for the volume, I found Wisbar Vol and it works flawlessly. It isn't very elegant since it uses the standard volume bubble. I'm still researching how to assign HTC Volume Control to a button at the Developing and Hacking section. Again, thanks.

When change of Regional settings fra Eng US > Uk you still dont get the time in 24 H format.

You can't regulate the Mic volume anny more by pressing on the loudspeaker.

And personally "the shadow on the keyboard" makes its harder to see.

f) The message preview on the TF theme not able to display chinese fonts even though i already install the chinese software suite. No problem when go into the inbox.
g) audio booster is not funtioning. It prompt me to connect my headphone when i try to launch it

Last night I have been playing with the registry trying to fix this issue and I'm very close to fixing it just need to do more tweaking!

So far the issue is now far less frequent, from my observation the issue now only occurs when I just taken the phone off charge and need to press power button twice to wake the device from sleep:(

Use the Manilla 2D Configure tool and you can increase your program rows and columns, there is a way to get icontacts to be your default, search over in the manilla customization thread and you will find it. I believe you rename your icontacts.exe to contacts.exe and it changes the default or something like that.

for people list, don't touch at the photo. but at the name or call icon. it will bring you calling those person.

Just tried that, that works but would be nice if I could just hit the persons picture...


could you give link for PI 8 apps? i will test it;)

PI8 is a third party App, I just want to be able to re-mapp the button, so that i can bring up my contact list on the home screen on the bottom .instead of opening the phone app and hitting the contact list from there.
