After installing the htc hotfix labelled

'fix for abnormal Nike TouchFLO screen display and keyboard output problems '

I have been having problems with my niki100

I've reflashed the rom serveral times with various versions including Mary, Toms and Gullum's (thanks)

Getting notification errors and buttons not working etc...

Does anybody know if I can remove or reverse that hotfix?

What does it do?

I assume that winmo devices have some area of memory that isn't overwritten when a new rom is installed, is there anyway to access it?

Thanks in advance. :D

install a original htc rom

Hi

Thanks for suggestion.

I tried installing the original UK Orange rom and it didn't seem to make any difference either.

I'm starting to think its my PC that is causing the problems. I've noticed that programs aren't shutting down in task manager even though they seem to shut down on the desktop. I also had 4 instances of volume for activesync in sound mixer!!!????

I reinstalled WMDC but that doesn't seem to have solved it either.
