PocketGBA Crashing Instantly

Hey all,

I have a question regarding PocketGBA and I seem to be seeing that people can get it to work on the Kaiser but I am having nothing but issues. I am using the non-cab installed version that has been posted on XDA but I cannot get this app to work.

When I click any icons it freezes and I have to preform a soft-reset with the stylus or hold the power button to power down.

I am using HyperDragon III PRO OS 5.2.20273 B. 20748.1.4.0, the prog is installed on my microSD card.

Any help would be awesome!

same with me..its wm6.1 no workaround as of yet..just have to revert to a wm6 rom i guess.. i posted before but seems no one uses this lol glad someone else does :)

Had the same issue. I found Morphgear to be a stable alternative at least for GBA. However it is not free but worth it.

I did not know there was a GBA plugin for Morphgear, I will have to get that.

There is no need for plugin, the software can do it itself :). I strongly recommend that you try first the ROM to see if it is not to laggy before purchasing a license, cause some of them I tried (GTA for example) are not so good for now... we'll have to wait for better drivers.

GB / GBC and NES working perfectly however.

I have found that many graphics apps (e.g Quake 1, Quake 2, Age of Empires, SNES Emulators, Pocket GBA) does not work as soon as you implement Manilla 2d to a ROM or as part of the cab install - which I believe is part of the new HyperDragon Build you have?

I dont have the new Hyperdrgaon Build, but certainlly installing the Manilla 2d cab on my L26 Throttle Build 6 (or even ROMeOS 4.6.0 which I have also tried) stops any of the above working - i.e. crash as soon as opened. Basically I can install all the additional cabs for Manilla 2d - see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398173 (I can even install all addons including the cabs under "nice to have") but as soon as I install the file called XDA_Manilla 2d - PocketGBA etc does not work.
Uninstall this specfic cab - and all works again.

Funnily MorphGear and Picodrive DO still work with Manilla 2d though!


So although I cannot prove it on the Hyperdragon build, my guess is Manilla 2d is causing the issue! :(
